Although Dubai is not the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, the city is still one of its most famous cities due to what it offers. 

Home to the tallest building in the world, Dubai is also the wealthiest city in the Middle East, and one of the richest in the world. Aside from its riches, the city is also a favorite tourist spot due to its shopping centers, unique culture, and beautiful places.

Al Shindagha Museum

 This museum is located in Dubai’s famous Dubai Creek, a place of safe harbor and trade in the Middle East. Thus, aside from the museum itself, visitors are sure to have a unique cultural experience even outside of it. 

The museum was built in 2019. It was built in the Creek due to an initiative to transform the area into a cultural and traditional center. 

The Museum is home to different exhibits on different topics, such as governance and society, traditional arts, crafts, medicine, and a Children’s Pavilion. However, its most famous feature is its Perfume House. 

The Perfume House allows visitors to indulge in the exotic fragrance of Dubai. Thus, visitors can learn traditional techniques in creating perfumes, even those that date back centuries.

Museum of Illusions

Do not forget to bring your camera with you, and learn and enjoy the place by playing when you visit Dubai’s Museum of Illusions.

You may think of Dubai’s Museum of Illusions as just the same as other illusion places. However, compared to other well-known illusion museums in the world, Dubai is the largest. 

Kids and adults alike are sure to find the tricks and illusions amazing, and they sure will love it. Some of its most famous rooms include the Slanted Room, the Vortex Tunnel, and the Ames Room. 

Pearl Museum

Dubai may be known for its gold, but did you know that it is also the land of pearls? Dubai was known for pearl diving in the past.

The museum can be found in the National Bank of Dubai, in Deira. It houses a large depository of the best pearls in the world. 

Aside from its pearls, the museum also shows exhibits and information on the different pearl beds in Dubai’s shallow waters and the kind of oysters you can find there. There are also exhibits of old diving equipment used in the past to gather pearls. 

Dubai Museums are some of the best in the world due to the country’s unique culture and their goal of preserving and recording history for future generations.
