Founded in 1838, Acadia University is one of the oldest and most respected liberal arts universities in Canada. It is located in the town of Wolfville, which is perfectly nestled amongst the majority of Nova Scotia wineries in the Annapolis Valley and is home to the Bay of Fundy, which sees the world’s highest tides going up to 50 metres. Wolfville town has a population of 4,500 full-time residents.

Acadia University is 94 kilometers away from the Halifax Stanfield Airport. The university campus is spread across 250 acres of space and is located just 500 meters from the ocean. More than 3,500 students are enrolled in the university.

Acadia University is ranked among the top 5 undergraduate universities in Canada and is ranked as No. 1 in Nova Scotia. Its Co-op Program is nationally accredited and has been recognized as one of the best in the country. Under this program, a student can earn up to 10,000 CAD per work term, and gain up to one year of professional work experience.
