De Montfort University (DMU) has teamed up with BID Leicester, a business-led, not-for-profit organization working to transform Leicester city center, with an aim to successfully launch a new entrepreneurial program.
The new, free program geared at anyone who wants to establish or expand a business, or learn more about building entrepreneurial abilities, is now accepting applications.

The Leicester Future Entrepreneurs program will start next month and will be led by local mentors and trainers. Sessions are held in various locations throughout the city, showcasing the various co-working spaces and enterprise hubs available.
Students and graduates from any institution or college, as well as members of the general public, are encouraged to apply immediately for a spot on the initiative. The deadline for applications is Feb. 28.
Accepted students will master business fundamentals as well as practical skills such as networking, website creation, and integrating with Leicester’s strong business sector.
DMU Works Enterprise and Entrepreneurship team, led by Simon Baines, is delivering Leicester’s Future Entrepreneurs.
Leicester Future Entrepreneurs kicks off on Thursday, Mar. 10, with the first workshop running at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The workshops are then repeated on a monthly basis, with one-on-one support and extra coworking sessions held throughout the city.
