Getting to these schools won’t be an easy feat, as they are highly selective, and a high undergraduate GPA and LSAT score are usually required.

Stanford Law School

Yale Law School

Harvard Law School

Harvard Law School, which was founded in 1817, is the country’s oldest continuously functioning law school. It is also the largest, with about 2,000 students and over 250 faculty members.

Clinical work is available to all second and third-year legal students at Harvard Law. Students can select between an in-house clinical placement and an externship clinic, which offers opportunities in both the public and private sectors across the country. Students have the option of designing their clinical placements.

University of Chicago Law School

University of Virginia Law School

Every year, UVA Law provides over 250 courses and seminars, including hands-on clinical programs, externship opportunities, and public speaking classes.

UVA Law, which is located in Charlottesville, is usually ranked first in rankings of the best public law schools. Ten student-run academic journals, a 6.5 to 1 student-to-faculty ratio, and 60 student organizations are among the other distinctions. Around 100 of the school’s 900+ students are awarded full-tuition scholarships.

Their acceptance rate is 15.33%.
