Ideal Part Time Job Industries for Students 2

Part-Time Jobs for International Students in Barcelona

As an international student, you might have already thought of getting a part-time job in Barcelona. Of course, there are many jobs you can choose from, but not all of them might suit your preference.

You might already have some prospects in mind, but knowing other jobs you can choose from wouldn’t hurt.  If you’re still thinking about which part-time job to choose from, here we’ve compiled a list of the best part-time jobs students can do:

Babysitter

Babysitting jobs have always been popular for students to do, especially if one is pretty good with handling children. A lot of families in Barcelona would hire babysitters for their children since most of them would also be busy with work and some other activities.

You can do babysitting during mornings and nights depending on what time you are free. Many parents would be working in the morning thus you can easily get hired. You’ll be earning about €9 per hour of your babysitting.

Bookkeeper

If you think you’re good at mathematics and can easily use Microsoft Office applications, then consider being a bookkeeper. Not a lot of students might consider working as a bookkeeper since it involves too much looking at a screen and mathematics, but the work does pay a lot.

You can make €16 per hour even when you are simply starting. You can try asking your peers and schools if they know of someone who is hiring a part-time bookkeeper or you may also reach out to your university to help you out.

Cashier

Working as a cashier is one of the most popular ways for students to do it, there are a lot of places that hire people above 18 to work for them. Restaurants, grocery stores, or any other service establishment are good prospects for a cashier job.

You can earn about up to €8 per hour depending on where you decide to work. A cashier job is a really easy job for international students to do, it doesn’t require too much from them and the pay is enough. Although it isn’t as high paying as bookkeeping, this is mostly enough for extra pocket money.

Tutor

If you excel in a certain subject in your school and can easily teach that subject to other students, then doing a tutoring job could work for you. Since you’re already a student, finding other students to tutor would be easy.

Depending on your performance in that subject it would be easier for you to find students. But it’s not impossible to find someone who would want to be tutored. In addition, you can earn  €15 per hour with this job.

Getting a part-time job is a great way to earn extra cash while you support your studies. Also Learn about part-time job opportunities while studying in UK and studying in Australia here at MSM Unify blog.
