A traditional Malaysian food that originated in Penang, nasi kandar consists of steamed rice, different curries, and side dishes such as fried chicken, fish roe, cubed beef, curried mutton, fried prawns, or squids. If you want a healthier version, you can include vegetables such as okra, aubergine, or bitter gourd.
