Your CUET UG exam admit card is an A4 printout, downloaded from cuet.nta.nic.in with your Application Number and Password. You also fill in the Self Declaration. The exam centre gives no duplicate, so a lost printout cannot be fixed at the gate. NTA has not announced the CUET UG exam admit card 2027, so the steps below follow the 2026 cycle.

It will be available only on the official NTA CUET UG website, cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA does not post the CUET UG exam admit card by mail or courier.
In 2026, the website had a link named "Admit Card for CUET(UG) - 2026". This was the CUET UG admit card 2026 official website route. Expect a similar link for the CUET UG exam admit card 2027 after NTA releases the bulletin. The login page sits on a NIC examination services portal that the NTA site links to.

NTA has not announced the CUET UG exam admit card 2027 release date. The release date depends on the exam date, and no CUET UG 2027 exam date is announced.
NTA released two things before the 2026 exam. First came the city intimation slip, and then came the CUET UG exam admit card. The CUET UG admit card 2025 followed the same order. Do not mix them up, because they carry different information.
5 May 2026
City allotment release
NTA reported that 96.6% of candidates got a preferred city.
10 May 2026
Press briefing note
NTA explained exam day rules and the exam schedule.
27 May 2026
Notice on admit cards
CUET UG exam admit card for candidates appearing on 31 May 2026.
1 Jun 2026
Notice on admit cards
CUET UG exam admit card for candidates appearing on 6 and 7 June 2026.
We could not read the first CUET UG admit card 2026 release date. NTA gave the CUET UG admit card 2026 release date for the 31 May exam in a 27 May notice. NTA released admit cards before the exam, and it issued revised cards after the city re-allocation.
NTA issued later notices for later dates. The notice of 27 May 2026 covered the 31 May exam. The notice of 1 June 2026 covered the 6 and 7 June exam. Treat these as the CUET UG admit card 2026 release date pattern for late shifts.
NTA released the CUET UG exam admit card on 10 May 2025 for papers from 13 to 16 May 2025. That was the CUET UG admit card 2025 cycle. The city slip came earlier, on 7 May 2025. That is about three days of gap for the first papers in the CUET UG admit card 2025 cycle.
This is a past pattern, not a promise for 2027. Check the NTA website from the day the bulletin is out. In 2026, the notice for the 31 May exam came on 27 May.
The city intimation slip tells you the city where you will take the test. Candidates choose up to four exam cities in the form. NTA may allot another city.
In 2026, 96.6% of candidates got a preferred city, and 79% got their first choice. NTA opened a first-come-first-served re-allocation window for the other 3.4%. These figures are from NTA's 10 May 2026 press briefing note.
You download the CUET UG exam admit card from cuet.nta.nic.in with your Application Number and Password. The steps below are the 2026 steps. NTA has announced no change for the CUET UG exam admit card 2027. The CUET UG admit card download is online only.
The Application Number is the number the system gave you when you registered. Your password has 8 to 13 characters. It has one capital letter, one small letter, one digit and one special character. If you have lost either, use the helpline given later on this page.
Use the same six steps above on cuet.nta.nic.in. This is the CUET UG admit card 2026 download route. Look for the link named "Admit Card for CUET(UG) - 2026" in the 2026 cycle.
Download one copy for the file and print two copies for safety. The centre will not give a duplicate, so keep the second copy in your bag. This is a safe habit, not an NTA rule.
No. NTA does not post the CUET UG exam admit card. You download it yourself, and you print it yourself. Use only the official NTA website, cuet.nta.nic.in.
The download link for the CUET UG exam admit card 2027 will go live on cuet.nta.nic.in. That happens after NTA announces the 2027 exam. No 2027 link is active today.
The CUET UG admit card download page asks for two things in the 2026 steps. These are your Application Number and your Password. Use a laptop or desktop if you can, because you must print the PDF.
The CUET UG admit card 2026 download link sat on the NTA home page. The CUET UG admit card 2026 official website was cuet.nta.nic.in. The 2027 download link should sit in the same place.
Use the official website only
Use the CUET UG admit card 2026 official website, cuet.nta.nic.in, for the 2027 card too. Do not enter your Application Number and Password on any other website.
No. A 2026 card is not valid for 2027. Each cycle has its own application, subject list, date and shift. The NTA Score of 2026 is valid for 2026-27 admission only.
You must apply again for 2027. The CUET UG 2027 registration page explains the form.
The CUET UG exam admit card shows your subject or subjects, the exam date, the shift and the exam centre. It also carries your name, photo and signature, which NTA can correct if they are wrong.
The bulletin names these items. NTA may print more fields on the CUET UG exam admit card 2027. Check every detail the day you download the card.
| Detail | What to check | If it is wrong |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Same as your ID proof | Call the helpline |
| Photo | Same as your uploaded photo | Call the helpline |
| Signature | Same as your uploaded signature | Call the helpline |
| Subjects, date, shift | Same as your application | Call the helpline |
| Centre | City and address are clear | Check the NTA notices |
Check the subject, the date and the shift on the CUET UG exam admit card first. NTA will not let you appear on any date or shift other than the one on your card.
Take a made-up student named Arjun, who chose Chemistry and English. His card shows Chemistry in the afternoon shift. He arrives for the morning shift by mistake and cannot sit for it. It is not a real card. It shows why you must read the shift line twice.
Call the NTA helpline on 011-40759000 between 10 AM and 5 PM. Appear for the exam with the downloaded card. NTA corrects its record later.
A name mismatch between your Class 10 marksheet and Aadhaar does not affect your candidature, as per the 2026 FAQs.
You need your printed CUET UG exam admit card and one original, valid photo ID at the centre. The list below is from the 2026 bulletin. Keep the CUET UG exam admit card and these papers in one folder.
Any one works: School ID, PAN card, Passport or Aadhaar with photo. An e-Aadhaar with photo, a Class 12 Board admit card with photo or a bank passbook with photo also works. The ID must be original, valid and not expired.
Any one of the seven photo ID types in the first tab is valid. The photo ID must be an original, not a photocopy, and it must not be expired.
Choose the photo ID that looks closest to you today. NTA checks the live photo taken at the centre against your Aadhaar or ID photo. If they do not match, carry the required original certificate attested by a competent authority.
Carry two, to be safe. The bulletin asks for one passport-size photograph, the same as the one you uploaded. NTA's 10 May 2026 press briefing note asks for two.
The two documents differ. The bulletin is the document of record, and the briefing note is later. Two photos satisfy both. The photos go on the attendance sheet at the centre.
Candidates must report at the exam centre 2 hours before the exam starts, with the CUET UG exam admit card. Late arrivals after the gate closes are not allowed. Arguing or forcing entry is treated as unfair means.
Frisking with metal detectors is compulsory. Female candidates are frisked by female staff in a closed enclosure. NTA gives rough sheets at the centre. You write your name and Application Number on each sheet and hand them back.
The bulletin bars many items from the exam hall. The centre has no locker or storage, so leave these at home.
Textual material, geometry or pencil box, calculator, scale, writing pad, eraser.
Two NTA documents disagree on three items
The 2026 bulletin and the 10 May 2026 press briefing note differ on water bottle, passport photos and shoes. The briefing note cites a public notice of 7 May 2026, which we could not read. Follow the instruction on your own admit card and the latest NTA notice.
| Item | 2026 bulletin | 10 May 2026 briefing note |
|---|---|---|
| Water bottle | Barred | Transparent bottle allowed |
| Passport photos | One | Two |
| Footwear | Shoes not allowed | Normal shoes, slippers and low heels preferred |
It depends on which NTA document you read. The bulletin bars water bottles. The briefing note allows a transparent water bottle.
A safe choice is to leave the bottle at home and drink water before you enter. If the latest notice or your admit card allows a transparent bottle, you may carry one.
The bulletin says shoes are not permitted, and it allows slippers and sandals with low heels. The briefing note prefers normal shoes, slippers and low heels.
Slippers or low-heel sandals are safe under both documents. Heavy long-sleeve clothes are not allowed. If your customary or religious dress needs a check, report 2 hours before the last reporting time.
Carry a simple transparent ball-point pen. The bulletin lists a pen among barred items, but it also requires a transparent ball-point pen. The transparent ball-point pen governs.
Keep your CUET UG exam admit card, photo ID and photos in one folder. Check each item once.
NTA holds no re-test for a missed date under any circumstances. The only exception is a one-time case that NTA itself announces. In 2026, 3,765 candidates got a re-exam after a technical glitch on 30 May 2026.
If a computer or mouse fails, NTA allots another system. It adjusts the lost time on the server.
CUET UG exam admit card problems fall into three groups: a wrong detail, a failed login or a rule mix-up. Use the table to find the first step for your CUET UG exam admit card.
| Problem | What to do | Rule behind it |
|---|---|---|
| Name, photo or signature is wrong | Call 011-40759000, 10 AM to 5 PM | Appear with the downloaded card |
| Photo at centre does not match ID | Carry an attested original certificate | Live photo is compared |
| Card shows a city you did not choose | Watch for a re-allocation window | Offered in 2026 for the 3.4% without a preferred city |
| You forgot the Application Number | Contact the NTA helpdesk | Email cuet-ug@nta.ac.in or call 011-69227700 |
| You missed your shift | No re-test is held | Only NTA-notified cases |
| Printout is lost | Download and print the CUET UG exam admit card again | No duplicate at the centre |
Print a spare copy and keep your Application Number in your phone notes. The helpline numbers are 011-40759000 and 011-69227700. The NTA email is cuet-ug@nta.ac.in. Read the CUET UG 2027 exam pattern page for what happens inside the exam.
Try again after some time. Use only cuet.nta.nic.in and a fresh browser tab. If the CUET UG admit card 2026 download still fails, call the helpline. Use only the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.
Contact the NTA helpline before the exam. In 2026, NTA extended the scribe window. PwBD candidates who are eligible for a scribe get 20 minutes extra per hour.
On the NTA website. The CUET UG 2027 results page explains the NTA Score and the result steps.

Atul has built a step-by-step content process that uses AI tools with a human in the loop. Every page goes through several stages. It starts with research, where each fact is checked on the official source. A second, independent source is then used to confirm that the fact is correct and the latest. Third-party sites are used only to spot differences and are never treated as a source. Before writing, the team studies what students actually search for and what the top results leave out. This study covers Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, ChatGPT, and Perplexity, including AI answers and “People also ask” questions. Pages written by Atul are in plain English that can be understood in one read, and they open with the question the reader is most likely to have. Before a page goes live, every number, name, date, and fact is checked again against its official source. Finally, an editor reads and humanises every page, however good the draft is. Atul believes that advice on education should be simple, honest, and based on official facts. Fees and figures should come with their source. A student should be told clearly when a college is not the right fit.
