The NEET UG result date for 2027 is not announced, because NTA has not announced the exam. The NEET UG exam results of the last three cycles came 25 to 41 days after the exam. So the NEET UG 2027 result is expected only some weeks after the paper. This is a past pattern, not a 2027 date.
No. NTA has not announced NEET UG 2027 as of 20 October 2026. Its exam calendar notice of 16 September 2026 lists exams up to March 2027 and does not include NEET UG. So no NEET UG result date exists for 2027. The NEET UG result date will be known only after NTA fixes the exam date.

NEET UG exam results and NTA scorecards declared.
| Year | Exam date | Result date |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 5 May 2024 | 4 June 2024 (revised 26 July 2024) |
| 2025 | 4 May 2025 | 14 June 2025 |
| 2026 | 21 June 2026 (re-exam) | 16 July 2026 |
Yes. The NEET UG 2026 re-exam result was declared on 16 July 2026, along with the final answer key. The NEET UG 2026 re-exam result is the latest official one. NTA held no fresh registration. It carried forward the original data and fees. The first exam, on 3 May 2026, was cancelled by NTA on 12 May 2026.
It is expected about 3 to 6 weeks after the exam, as the NEET UG result date follows the paper. The gaps were 30 days in 2024, 41 days in 2025 and 25 days for the 2026 re-exam. If NEET UG 2027 follows the first-Sunday-of-May pattern, the result would fall in June 2027. This is an expectation, not an NTA date.
You check the NEET UG exam results online on the official NEET UG website, neet.nta.nic.in, using your registration login. The NEET UG result 2026 was released the same way. The 2027 steps are not published yet. These steps follow the 2026 process.
The NEET UG result link appears on neet.nta.nic.in on the day NTA declares the result. Use only that website for the NEET UG exam results. On 20 July 2026, NTA warned about fake, altered and AI-generated NEET UG documents and OMR claims on social media. Never trust a NEET UG result link or file that arrives on a messaging app.
No. NTA gives each candidate a score and does not publish a NEET merit list for counselling. The central quota uses the All India Rank, while states prepare their own merit lists. Both steps are explained under the next steps section below.
The NEET UG result link for 2027 is not live. The one official address for the NEET UG exam results is neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET UG result link opens your scorecard only after you log in.
For the NEET UG 2026 re-exam result, NTA published three official PDFs on the result day. You can read each of them below. The press release gives the headline NEET UG exam results. The Key Data Points file has the category tables. The toppers file lists the NEET UG result topper names and the highest scorers.

It is the main record of your NEET UG exam results. NTA has not published the 2027 scorecard format, so this section tells you what to check.
Check your name, category and sub-category on the NEET UG exam results scorecard first. A wrong category changes the cutoff that applies to you. Then check your total marks out of 720 and your percentile. If your scorecard shows an All India Rank, note that too, because MCC uses it for seat allotment.
Write to NTA through the helpline at once. For 2026, the numbers were 011-40759000 and 011-69227700. The email address was neetug2026@nta.ac.in. NTA may change these for 2027, so check neet.nta.nic.in. A wrong category must be fixed before counselling registration.
Your NEET UG score is out of 720. The percentile in your NEET UG exam results tells you how many candidates scored below you. In the simple form, take the candidates who scored less than you. Divide that by the candidates who appeared and multiply by 100. NTA's own method handles ties, so the last decimal on your scorecard can differ slightly.
Marks show how well you did on the paper. Percentile shows how you did against everyone else. The qualifying cutoff is set as a percentile. It is the 50th for UR and EWS, and the 40th for SC, ST and OBC-NCL. The marks that match a percentile change every year, depending on the paper.
| Category (2026) | Percentile needed | Marks range of that band |
|---|---|---|
| UR / EWS | 50th and above | 715 to 213 |
| SC / ST / OBC-NCL | 40th to below 50th | 212 to 177 |
| UR / EWS with PwBD | 45th to below 50th | 212 to 194 |
The same 50th percentile stood at 162 marks in 2024, 144 marks in 2025 and 213 marks in 2026. That shows why a percentile, not a fixed mark, decides qualification in the NEET UG exam results. See the NEET UG cutoff page for every band.
Take the NEET UG result 2026 figures. A total of 19,99,895 candidates appeared. NTA reported that 10,160 candidates scored 600 or more. So 19,89,735 scored below 600. Divide by 19,99,895 and multiply by 100. The answer is about 99.49 percentile for a score of 600.
The table applies the same method to the five score bands NTA published. These are our calculations from NTA's figures, and they are approximate.
| Marks (2026) | Candidates at or above | Approximate percentile |
|---|---|---|
| 700 | 19 | 99.999 |
| 690 | 138 | 99.993 |
| 650 | 1,492 | 99.925 |
| 600 | 10,160 | 99.492 |
| 500 | 90,780 | 95.461 |
Your rank is close to the number of candidates who scored the same or more than you. In 2026, 10,160 candidates scored 600 or more. So a score of 600 gave a rank of about 10,000 or better. These are 2026 figures. The same score can give a different rank in 2027, because the paper and the number of candidates change.
Yes. Only 19 candidates scored above 700 in the NEET UG result 2026. That puts a 700 score in the top handful of the 19,99,895 who appeared. The highest score was 715 out of 720.
It is above the qualifying cutoff, but it is below 500. In the NEET UG result 2026, 90,780 candidates scored 500 or more. So a score of 487 gives a rank beyond 90,780. A seat depends on your category, your quota and the state. Check the NEET UG colleges page for the seat picture.
NTA applies a fixed tie-break order, as per the NEET UG 2026 Information Bulletin. It checks these in turn. Subject marks matter here, as Biology carries 360 of the 720 marks.
The NEET UG 2026 re-exam result shows fewer candidates than 2025, and a higher NEET UG result topper score. The count of those who appeared fell from 22,09,318 in 2025 to 19,99,895 in 2026. These NEET UG exam results are the latest official ones. The highest score rose from 686 in 2025 to 715 in 2026.

| 2026 | 11,21,185 | 56.1% |
The share who qualified in the NEET UG exam results stayed near 56% in all three years. The number of qualified candidates fell with the number who appeared. The share is our calculation from NTA's figures.
Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana shared the NEET UG result topper score of 715 out of 720. The NEET UG result topper list is on the official website. NTA also said 93% of the top 138 candidates were first-time candidates.
In the NEET UG exam results, NTA reported 138 candidates above 690 marks and 19 above 700. In all, 1,492 scored 650 or more, 10,160 scored 600 or more and 90,780 scored 500 or more. These counts help you place your own score in the NEET UG exam results.
In the NEET UG exam results, women formed over 58% of the qualified candidates. Of women who appeared, 56.8% qualified, against 55.1% of men. The tables below use NTA's Key Data Points. The PwBD row overlaps with the other categories, so the rows do not add up to the total.

After the NEET UG exam results, your next step is counselling, not another NTA process. NTA publishes no merit list. Seats are filled by MCC for the all-India share and by state authorities for the state share. This was the 2026 order, and 2027 rules are not announced.
Do these five things in order.
After the NEET UG exam results, MCC runs counselling for several groups of seats. These are the 15% all-India quota, deemed universities, central universities, ESIC, AIIMS and JIPMER. The MCC counselling process in 2026 had Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and a stray vacancy round. Round 1 registration began on 4 August 2026. Round 2 ran from 3 to 11 September 2026. Round 3 ran from 22 September to 15 October 2026, and its result came on 1 October 2026. The stray round result came on 19 October 2026, with reporting from 19 to 26 October 2026.
MCC lists each allotment by the All India Rank, quota, institute and category. The lists are on the MCC archive page.
Each state prepares its own merit list for state-quota seats, using the score in the NEET UG exam results. State rules on domicile, reservation and fees differ. NTA and MCC do not run state counselling. Check your state authority's notice for the registration dates.
For AIQ, central universities, AIIMS and JIPMER seats, the registration fee was βΉ1,000 for UR and EWS. It was βΉ500 for SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates. It is non-refundable. A refundable security deposit of βΉ10,000 applies to UR and EWS, and βΉ5,000 to reserved categories. Deemed universities charged βΉ5,000 for registration and βΉ2,00,000 as security deposit. Fees may change for 2027.
No. The NEET UG 2026 Information Bulletin says there is no re-checking or re-evaluation of the NEET UG exam results. The bulletin allows legal challenges within 30 days. NTA also removes records after 90 days.
No. On 13 October 2026, MCC called a notice about percentile reduction in 2026 counselling fake. MCC said no such decision of percentile reduction has been taken. Check mcc.nic.in for the real notices.
It might, but nothing is decided about the NEET UG exam results process. The Centre told the Supreme Court in August 2026 that no final decision on a computer-based NEET UG had been implemented. NTA has issued no 2027 notice, so the 2027 result process is not announced.
To estimate your own score before the NEET UG exam results, use the NEET UG answer key page. To look at seats, read the NEET UG colleges page.
