Certificate of Specialization in Manufacturing Technology Machining - CNC College of the Canyons

This certificate prepares students for CNC programming specifically used in the automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing industries. Upon completion of the certificate, students will be able to work in the automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing industries as a CNC machinist, CNC lathe operator, production machinist, or CNC programmer. Certificate Student Learning Outcome: Students will be able to demonstrate proficiency in the core CNC skills and knowledge required for a variety of manufacturing industries.

College of the Canyons is part of the California Community College system of 116 colleges serving more than 2.1 million students.

The college is located in Santa Clarita, California, about 30 miles north of downtown Los Angeles, and covers a 367-square-mile service area. It offers 242 associate degree and certificate programs and served 33,481 students per year at Valencia and Canyon Country campuses in 2019/20.
