Walsh University’s Doctor of Nursing Practice/Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (BSN to DNP-ACACNP) program allows students to expand their scope of practice to meet the health care needs of the acutely ill adult and elderly patients. Graduates of the BSN-DNP-AGACNP program are prepared to practice at the highest level of advanced nursing practice with a focus on patient care within complex acute health care environments. Integration of scientific knowledge grounded in evidenced-based practice, systems leadership, quality improvement, ethics, health care policy and advocacy, and effective use of health care technology and data management equip graduates of the BSN-DNP-AGACNP program to take leadership roles within health care systems.
