The university provides a Master of Science in Biotechnology (professional course) to the students. This course is designed to expand the knowledge of the molecular, biochemical, cell biological and genetic techniques underpinning modern biotechnology and how they can be used to solve real-world problems and benefit society. It aims to provide hands-on practical experience of both laboratory and bioinformatics techniques. The program will also train them in biotechnology research strategies so that they have the chance to gain an understanding of the nature of business based on bioscience knowledge and research, opportunities for innovation, regulatory requirement constraints, intellectual property and ethical issues.
