The State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra, has declared the MHT CET 2026 result. It came out group-wise and attempt-wise, not on one common date. PCB 1st Attempt: 9 June 2026. PCM 1st Attempt: 15 June 2026. PCB 2nd Attempt: 18 June 2026. PCM 2nd Attempt: 19 June 2026 (Source: cetcell.mahacet.org press notes). This page covers the release dates, the download steps, and what the scorecard shows. It also explains how percentile is calculated, previous-year trends, and what to do next. For the full exam profile, see the MHT CET 2026 overview. For the exam's full structure, check the MHT CET 2026 exam pattern page.
The MHT CET 2026 result is a percentile score, not a raw mark or a direct rank. Twenty-six PCM candidates and 11 PCB candidates scored a perfect 100 percentile. This was in the 1st Attempt alone, out of lakhs who appeared.

MHT CET runs as two attempts for each group. Each attempt is scored independently. The CET Cell processes attendance, answer key objections, and percentile calculation separately for PCB and PCM. It does the same for the 1st and 2nd Attempt. Each combination clears its own result timeline before the next one is declared. This is why a PCB result can be out days before a PCM result, even in the same admission cycle. Check the MHT CET 2026 dates page for the full exam-to-counselling calendar.
You download the MHT CET 2026 result from the candidate portal at cetcell.mahacet.org. Log in with your registered email ID and password. The scorecard does not open as a public link. It sits inside your individual login.
You need the email ID and password you registered with. Some screens also accept your application number with your date of birth. These are the same credentials used for the admit card and the MHT CET 2026 answer key portal. Reuse that login rather than creating a new one.
Use the "Forgot Password" or "Forgot Application Number" link on the login page. The portal sends a reset OTP to your registered mobile number and email ID. You will need your name, date of birth, and registered mobile number. Keep your application number saved separately. You need it again at every CAP counselling stage, including MHT CET registration and choice filling.
The only official source for the MHT CET 2026 scorecard is cetcell.mahacet.org. A separate portal, fe2026.mahacet.org, handles CAP counselling. That covers document upload, choice filling, and seat allotment, once you clear the result stage.

No, the MHT CET scorecard is available only on cetcell.mahacet.org. No other website, including this one, can generate or display your actual scorecard. It needs your individual login. A site offering "direct download" without asking for your credentials is not showing your real result.
The MHT CET 2026 scorecard shows your subject-wise and overall percentile, not your raw marks. It also confirms your identity, category, and qualifying status.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Candidate details | Name, application number, roll number, date of birth |
| Group and attempt | PCM or PCB, 1st Attempt or 2nd Attempt |
| Subject-wise percentile | Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology, each separately |
| Overall (Total) percentile | Combined percentile used for the merit list |
| Category | Open, OBC, SC, ST, SEBC, and other reserved categories |
| Qualifying status | Whether you meet the minimum qualifying percentile |
If you appeared for both attempts, your CAP scorecard carries the higher of the two Total percentile scores. This is per the State CET Cell's Information Brochure for AY 2026-27. The brochure also states one more rule. Your Physics or Chemistry percentile from one group cannot be carried over to the other group. A PCM Physics percentile and a PCB Physics percentile stay separate, even if you sat both exams.
No, the MHT CET 2026 scorecard shows only percentile scores, subject-wise and overall. It does not show raw marks out of 200. Colleges use the percentile during MHT CET CAP counselling. Check the corresponding MHT CET 2026 cutoff for your branch and category to judge your real chances.
MHT CET reports a percentile score, not a percentage or a raw mark. Percentile shows the share of candidates in your session who scored equal to or below your score. It runs on a scale from 0 to 100.
The State CET Cell publishes its own "Result Processing Methodology" document on cetcell.mahacet.org. It states the process plainly. The highest raw score in each session gets a percentile of 100. That is because 100% of that session's candidates scored equal to or below the topper. Every other raw score in that session is converted the same way. Percentile scores are calculated to 7 decimal places, specifically to avoid ties between close scorers.
The formula, as stated in the official document:
Percentile Score = (Number of candidates in that session with a raw score equal to or less than the candidate's score ÷ Total number of candidates who appeared in that session) × 100
MHT CET runs across many days and shifts. Each session gets a different, randomly assigned group of candidates. So a raw score by itself cannot be compared across sessions. The CET Cell first works out a percentile within each session. It does this separately for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology, and for the Total score. It then merges these session-wise percentiles into one combined percentile per subject, and one Total percentile. That final number is what appears on your scorecard and feeds the merit list.
A worked example from the official methodology document: in one PCM session with 2,257 candidates, a candidate scoring 45 out of 45 in Physics landed at 100.0000000 percentile. Every candidate in that session scored 45 or below. A candidate scoring 0 in that same section landed at 0.4841549 percentile. Only a handful of candidates in that session scored 0 or lower.
Percentage is your raw score as a share of the total marks. Scoring 160 out of 200 gives you an 80% score. Percentile is your relative standing among candidates in your session. A 95 percentile means you scored equal to or better than 95% of that session's candidates. A harder session can give a lower raw score a higher percentile than an easier session gives a higher raw score. Closing that gap is exactly what normalisation is for.
The State CET Cell uses whichever attempt gives you the higher Total percentile. This applies if you sit both the 1st and 2nd Attempt of a group, per the MHT CET 2026 Information Brochure. There is no penalty for a lower second-attempt score, since only your best Total percentile carries forward. The CET Cell has not published the exact formula for normalising percentiles across the two attempt windows into one merit list. The brochure states the best-of-two rule but not the cross-attempt normalisation method. Treat that specific step as unconfirmed on the official record.
MHT CET does not name a single "topper" the way some exams do. The State CET Cell instead publishes a full category-wise list. It names every candidate who scores 100 percentile, with application number, gender, and district, inside its official press notes.
PCM 1st Attempt: 26 candidates scored 100 percentile, out of 4,54,069 who appeared (94.73% attendance). PCB 1st Attempt: 11 candidates scored 100 percentile, out of 2,63,213 who appeared (92.66% attendance). Source: cetcell.mahacet.org press notes, June 2026.
PCM 2nd Attempt: 12 candidates scored 100 percentile, out of 2,85,121 who appeared (88.57% attendance). PCB 2nd Attempt: 4 candidates scored 100 percentile, out of 95,631 who appeared (82.06% attendance). Source: cetcell.mahacet.org press notes, June 2026.
PCM: 22 candidates scored 100 percentile, out of 4,22,663 who appeared out of 4,64,263 registered (91.04% attendance), result declared 16 June 2025. PCB: 14 candidates scored 100 percentile, out of 2,82,734 who appeared out of 3,01,072 registered (93.91% attendance), result declared 17 June 2025. Source: cetcell.mahacet.org press notes, June 2025.
A combined 37 candidates across the PCM and PCB groups scored 100 percentile in MHT CET 2024, per independent press coverage of the CET Cell's June 2024 result declaration. The CET Cell's own 2024 attendance and group-wise breakup was not independently re-verified for this page. Treat the combined count as the confirmed figure and the split as an honest gap.
Two things stand out across the three years. First, 100-percentile counts moved from 37 combined in 2024, to 22 PCM plus 14 PCB in 2025, to 26 PCM plus 11 PCB in the 2026 1st Attempt alone. Swings of this size are normal. They do not by themselves signal a harder or easier paper. Second, PCM attendance has stayed above 91% for three straight years: 91.04% in 2025, and 94.73% in the 2026 1st Attempt. PCB 2nd Attempt attendance is consistently the lowest of the four slots, at 82.06% in 2026. That is most likely because PCB candidates who are happy with their 1st Attempt percentile skip the optional second sitting.
No, the State CET Cell does not name one overall MHT CET topper. It instead publishes every 100-percentile scorer by category: Open, OBC, SC, ST, SEBC, and others. This sits inside its official result press note. A given year can have anywhere from a handful to several dozen 100-percentile scorers across PCM and PCB.
MHT CET 2026 PCM 1st Attempt attendance was 94.73%. That is higher than the 91.04% recorded for MHT CET 2025 PCM. PCB 1st Attempt attendance in 2026 stood at 92.66%, close to the 93.91% seen in 2025. These figures point to stable 1st Attempt turnout across both years. The bigger year-to-year swing sits in the newer, optional 2nd Attempt slots.
MHT CET 2027 has not been notified as of this page's last update. No 2027 dates are given here. Check the MHT CET 2026 exam pattern and MHT CET 2026 syllabus pages for what this cycle's exam actually tested, while you wait for the 2027 notification.
The MHT CET result feeds straight into CAP, the Centralised Admission Process. CAP decides your engineering, pharmacy, or agriculture seat. Your Total percentile from the result stage drives every later CAP step.
