Your EMAT test date and time reach you as a message. IIM Kozhikode (IIMK) publishes no EMAT exam admit card. You cannot download a hall ticket. A missed message can therefore mean a missed test. No EMAT exam admit card 2027 release date exists, and IIMK has announced no EMAT for 2027.

EMAT means Executive Management Aptitude Test. IIM Kozhikode (IIMK) uses it to screen working professionals for its MBA for Working Executives, earlier called EPGP. EMAT is not a national exam, so no central body issues hall tickets. IIM Kashipur runs a different test with the same name. This page follows the IIMK test unless it says Kashipur. IIMK handles the EMAT exam admit card step through a simple message to each shortlisted candidate. The table gives the main facts about the IIMK EMAT from the admission policy of the 2026-28 batch. Expected, not confirmed: the EMAT exam admit card 2027 step will work the same way if IIMK repeats its process.

Is there an EMAT admit card?

No. IIMK publishes no EMAT exam admit card for the IL-Kozhikode programme. So there is no EMAT exam admit card to wait for. The IIMK Kochi FAQ also describes only an email. That email gives the date and time of the test and the interview.

Is the EMAT hall ticket the same as an email from IIMK?

In practice, yes. The email, or the message IIMK sends, is the only entry detail IIMK describes. IIMK has not published a list of what that message contains. Treat it as your EMAT exam admit card and save it.

There is no EMAT exam admit card release date, because IIMK does not release an admit card. The nearest official marker is the registration closure date of each phase. IIMK says it communicates the test details to shortlisted candidates after that date. It has fixed no release date for that message.

Here is what the 2026-28 batch shows about the wait. Each IIMK EMAT exam date came 2 to 20 days after the application window closed. That gap is our own count from IIMK's dates.

In Phase I, the gap was only 2 days. A candidate who applied on the last day could have very little time. So keep your email open from the day your window closes.

IIM Kashipur lists "communication to applicants for EMAT" on 24 December 2026. Its EMAT is two days later, on 26 December 2026. It does not call this an admit card.

When will the EMAT admit card 2027 be released?

The EMAT exam admit card 2027 will not be released as a document, and no release date will apply. For 2027, IIMK has published no application window, no EMAT dates and no admission policy. Follow the EMAT exam date page for the new calendar.

You cannot download an EMAT exam admit card. The steps below help the IIMK EMAT message reach you. These steps follow IIMK's process, plus our advice where marked.

1. Apply on the IIMK admission portal before the last date of your phase. The EMAT exam registration page lists the steps.
2. Enter an email and a mobile number that you check every day. IIMK uses OTPs for registration and login.
3. Wait for IIMK to shortlist applicants after the window closes.
4. Check your inbox and spam folder for the message with your EMAT date and time. This is advice.
5. Log in with your OTP to see if the portal shows any update. IIMK has not said that the portal displays test details.
6. Note the EMAT exam date, the time and any instructions. Save the message, or take a screenshot.
7. If no message comes, write to epgpadmission@iimk.ac.in with your registered mobile number.

Who will receive the EMAT message?

Shortlisted applicants who sit EMAT will receive it. A candidate who uses a qualifying CAT, GMAT or GRE score in place of EMAT may not sit the test. IIMK's policy lists shortlisting as the first stage and EMAT with the interview as the next stages.

How do I check my EMAT slot if I lose the email?

Write to the IIMK admission office, or call 0495-2809 418. IIMK has published no self-service way to retrieve the slot. Quote your registered email and mobile number.

IIMK has no EMAT exam admit card download link. The pages below are the only official places to apply, log in and ask for help.

With no EMAT exam admit card, IIMK has not published what its message contains. The EMAT exam date and time are the first details to check. The IIMK Kochi FAQ says it gives the date and time of the entrance test and the interview. Check the points below as soon as you read it. This is our advice, not an IIMK list.

• Your name and phase, as in your application.
• The EMAT date and the time.
• The date and time of the Personal Interview, if given.
• Instructions on how to log in to the online test.
• A contact email or phone number for problems.

If the message does not show a login method, ask IIMK before the test day. IIMK has not published the proctoring system, the device rules or the browser rules for the online EMAT.

Which details can I not find anywhere?

IIMK has not published the test duration, the number of questions, the marking scheme or the reporting time for EMAT. Our EMAT exam pattern page lists what the official sample papers show.

With no EMAT exam admit card, IIMK has published no ID rule for the EMAT day. You upload your documents at the application stage, not on the test day. These include scanned certificates, proof of work experience and an employer reference letter.

The IIMK Kochi FAQ tells applicants not to send paper documents or printouts of the application form to the campus. The exception is when IIMK asks for them in writing. For the IL-Kozhikode programme, no such instruction is published.

For the online IIMK EMAT, keep these ready. This is advice, not an IIMK rule.

• A government photo ID, in case IIMK asks for it.
• Your IIMK email or the message with the EMAT slot.
• The mobile number you used to register, for OTP.
• A copy of your submitted application form.

IIMK conducts the EMAT and the Personal Interview online. There is no EMAT exam admit card with printed rules, and IIMK has published no exam day guidelines. The facts below are what IIMK does say.

• The test is designed and evaluated by IIMK.
• PwD candidates get a compensatory extension of 20 minutes per hour of the exam.
• IIMK states that meeting only the minimum EMAT score does not mean admission.

IIMK has not published the webcam, device or browser rules. It has also not published the dress code, prohibited items or biometric checks. So confirm these with the admission office after you get your slot. Confirm the EMAT exam date again a day before.

What should I do before the EMAT test day?

Write to IIMK to confirm the login method and rules. Then test your internet and device a day earlier. Keep your phone within reach for OTP. These steps are our advice. After the test, IIMK checks your marks against the cut-off, and the EMAT cutoff page lists those percentages.
