We're a profession that's charged with advocating for, empowering, and assisting those in society who are most oppressed. All general admissions criteria apply with the following changes: Field Education is the Signature Pedagogy of Social Work Education, and is intended to provide students the opportunity to apply models, theories, and ethical concepts learned in the classroom to a variety of community practice settings. Commonwealth University - Bloomsburg Social Work program has relationships with many community agencies and organizations that allow students to gain meaningful practice experience with individuals, families, groups, communities, and organizations.
