The BA (Hons) in Applied Arts degree includes a foundation year to prepare you for further years of study, with the focus on craft skills to enable you to become exceptional makers. Focus is placed on developing your business skills in areas such as pricing, publicity and marketing. In this program, you get to work on live projects, exhibitions, competitions and commissions for public and private clients, giving you confidence for your future career, for example, when approaching galleries and retail outlets with your work. Wrexham Glyndwr University started in 2008, making it one of the youngest universities in the UK. It is a vibrant, friendly place where each student’s learning and future is given personal attention.

It has been delivering education at its main Wrexham campus since 1887 when it is known as the Wrexham School of Science and Art. It first started offering degrees in 1924, but it has come a long way since then.
