The LLM Child Law program at the University of Law, London (Bloomsbury) is an advanced program of study that aims to deepen students' understanding of the legal issues related to children and their rights. Focusing specifically on a child-centric approach to law, this program provides students with a comprehensive summary of the international legal rules and principles concerning children. The course works to equip students with the skills to critically assess the efficacy of these rules and their application. This course also covers areas such as child protection, parental rights and responsibilities, the child's right to participation, and laws relating to children in the criminal and civil justice systems. Students will learn about the impact of the European Convention on Human Rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and other relevant substantive, institutional and procedural standards. The campus’ 4-floor library is full of textbooks and reference books as well as helpful staff on hand to help with your studies and research work. The cyber lounge and café are great places to socialise and work in groups in between lectures.

Bloomsbury employability service includes a team of career consultants that are there to help you and discuss your career path. We also have a pro bono centre that provides you with the opportunity to volunteer and potentially give legal advice to real clients, under supervision.
