UOWD College offers English language courses across a range of levels and for a variety of purposes. Our courses are designed to develop English language skills for further study, career progression, or social interaction.

Our courses are highly interactive and take place on our state-of-the-art campus which offers a lively environment with the latest educational technology and learning materials.

All our language courses are delivered by highly qualified and experienced instructors and our students come from over 40 different countries.

The Global English Skills (GES) program provides students with the opportunity to learn English within an international context. It also provides a preparation for general English and academic pathways at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

The program is designed for in a modular format with a new module starting each month.

There are 5 main levels of intensive study, Elementary to Upper Intermediate. Each level is made up of 3 modules. Each module takes 4 weeks and a complete level takes 12 weeks.

Achievement of the learning outcomes at each level is determined by unit quizzes, oral assessments and writing assessments.
