Masters in Business and Management Transport and Telecommunication Institute

The Master's program is designed to help students develop a rational analytical approach to solving business problems and to affecting the internal change within the business by using modern management technologies, that allow to acquire the competencies to operate as manager or as entrepreneur, making our graduates employable. The top priorities for today's managers are ability to manage change, as well ensure company's development and financial stability, that increase the demand of such professionals for today's Latvian labormarket. In response to market demand two new specializations have been implemented:"Business and Change Management" and "Business and Financial Management".

Within the Business and Change Management specialization, students acquire in-depth knowledge and skills of organizational transformation management, which includes organizational, personnel, communication and information aspects both at the individual level and within the organization as a whole and which aims at driving business towards the achievement of the company’s strategic goals.

The courses included in the specialization Business and Financial Management are aimed at acquiring in-depth knowledge of financial management. Students learn how to develop financial management models based on the indicators of financial and non-financial performance and learn how to design financial strategies for a company’s sustainable business development.

This approach enhances the professional component of the Master's program and makes it more competitive on the labor market.

Transport and Telecommunication Institute (Transporta un sakaru instituts, TSI) is a modern university of applied sciences with a centennial history. It is the only private technical higher educational institution in Latvia.

TSI is the university-successor of the legendary RKIIGA (Riga Red-Banner Civil Aviation Institute) and RAU (Riga Aviation University). In the present-day appearance, TSI was established in 1999.  

All study programs are provided in two languages, Latvian and English. The Institute has received permanent accreditation in Latvia as a higher education institution. 

Since 2003, TSI has been successfully operating the Latgalian branch in Daugavpils – the second largest town in Latvia.

TSI provides academic study programs in the following directions: transport and logistics, aviation, computer sciences and networks, electronics and robotics, management, and business.

TSI conducts diversified research scientific work. According to the results of expert evaluation, the Transport and Telecommunication Institute is the only one among private colleges included in the list of leading scientific institutions in Latvia.

The total amount of institute graduates – more than 8900.

Current amount of students – more than 2600. 

TSI is proud of its international environment – there are students from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Lithuania, UK, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, India, Egypt, Peru, and other countries.
