Bachelors in Business and Management Transport and Telecommunication Institute

The program has two specialisations: "Digital Business Management" and "Managerial Economics", which is unique to the Latvian education market, although similar programs are being successfully implemented in other Western countries.

Specialisation in Digital Business Management helps students to master such concepts as digital transformation and business management tools in a digital environment. The offered specialisation's multidisciplinary nature focuses on developing the management skills and competencies necessary for successful implementation of digital transformations to establish their own business.

Specialisation in Managerial Economics enables the future specialist to master the economic analysis methods of modern business management regardless of the type, size, and legal form of the business in globalisation focused on sustainable business development.

Transport and Telecommunication Institute (Transporta un sakaru instituts, TSI) is a modern university of applied sciences with a centennial history. It is the only private technical higher educational institution in Latvia.

TSI is the university-successor of the legendary RKIIGA (Riga Red-Banner Civil Aviation Institute) and RAU (Riga Aviation University). In the present-day appearance, TSI was established in 1999.  

All study programs are provided in two languages, Latvian and English. The Institute has received permanent accreditation in Latvia as a higher education institution. 

Since 2003, TSI has been successfully operating the Latgalian branch in Daugavpils – the second largest town in Latvia.

TSI provides academic study programs in the following directions: transport and logistics, aviation, computer sciences and networks, electronics and robotics, management, and business.

TSI conducts diversified research scientific work. According to the results of expert evaluation, the Transport and Telecommunication Institute is the only one among private colleges included in the list of leading scientific institutions in Latvia.

The total amount of institute graduates – more than 8900.

Current amount of students – more than 2600. 

TSI is proud of its international environment – there are students from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Lithuania, UK, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, India, Egypt, Peru, and other countries. 

The most popular education directions for foreign students are IT, logistics, and aviation.
