Estheticians, unlike licensed cosmetologists, are also able to provide advanced treatments like pore cleansing, extractions, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, light therapy, and hair removal. They may also educate clients on products, skincare regimens, and the benefits of esthetic procedures. Make a career of helping people feel their best. Students in VCC's esthetics certificate program train in the state-of-the-art VCC Salon & Spa at the Downtown campus. The highly-trained instructors have worked extensively with spa professionals and the government to develop this nine-month, career-focused program.
