To achieve the best result in teaching and learning, undergraduate language preparation programs at TLC are organized to teach academic English skills in a progressive approach within the context of content area. This Modular Academic System (MAS) of Learning is composed of four progressive levels. Each level will be taught through the lens of 3 Academic Content Areas–Humanities and Social Sciences (MAS-H), Sciences and Math (MAS-S), and Professional Studies (MAS-P). Each level is composed of three 5-week learning and assessment sessions; students are therefore able to start the program every five weeks. In addition to the weekly 20-hours direct learning, students will attend daily Supervised Assignment Session to supplement in-class learning.
Affiliated to Trinity Western University, Trinity Language Centre (TLC) offers university preparation programs for international students who plan to pursue post-secondary education in Canada. TLC provides different levels of academic English classes to accommodate the various demands of a diverse student population.
