Grade 8 Red Deer Catholic International St. Patrick's Community School

Red Deer Catholic International (RDCI) offers world class program for international students was launched in 2005. Since then, it has hosted hundreds of students who have enjoyed a first-class education and a safe and welcoming community environment in the schools and the broader community of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada.

RDCI offers and follow the provincially mandated Department of Education curriculum within a Catholic, Christian environment. The international program is open to students from Grades 8 through 12 and students are placed in one of our middle or high schools located throughout the jurisdiction.

Red Deer Catholic International offers a quality homestay program in collaboration with Canada Homestay Network. CSN focuses on student care and attention within caring family environments. Students are provided with their own bedroom, access to a computer and three main healthy meals a day. Students become a part of the homestay families and enjoy the care and comfort of being surrounded by their hosts.

Established in September 1981, St. Patrick's Community School first opened its doors to Kindergarten to Grade 7 students on a standard September to June schedule. In September 1998, it became a year-round school and now welcomes Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 9 students. St. Patrick's is committed to providing a safe and positive learning environment that will foster as well as support high academic and behavioural expectations, while capitalizing on the value of strong relationships.
