University Transfer Program - SFU - Faculty of Applied Science: Engineering Science Alexander College

In this program, you will solve problems with elegant but advanced solutions, from electronics to robotics to medical devices. You will bring your expert technical skills from the classroom to your mandatory co-op work experience, gaining valuable industry experience. By the third year, you will specialize in one of five main options. The Engineering Science program in the Faculty of Applied Sciences offers you the opportunity to work in your field in a co-operative education placement. With an international reputation for innovation, Engineering Science offers a fast-paced program that mirrors life at the pioneering edge of high-tech development. Areas of study can include microelectronics, computer engineering, robotics, biomedical engineering, multimedia, systems, or telecommunications. Engineering Science provides first-year courses and the foundation for progression to the second year of SFU’s School of Engineering Science degrees. Students enrolled in an Engineering Science degree program at SFU complete three terms of full-time paid work experience during their degree.

Alexander College is a private post-secondary institution serving approximately 2,000 students every year. Alexander College offers various undergraduate degree and transfer programs, including University Transfer, Associate of Arts degree, and Associate of Science degree. An integrated English for Academic Purposes program is also available to assist non-native English speakers with their transition to university-level studies in the English language.
