The Bachelor of Molecular Biotechnology/Bachelor of Business program at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is a combined degree that integrates the study of biotechnology and business studies. This double degree is designed to respond to a growing demand for graduates skilled in a range of disciplines including molecular biology, biochemistry, new business project development, business leadership and strategy.
Molecular Biotechnology component trains students in the breadth and depth of molecular strategies that are driving the biotechnology revolution. They gain expertise in significant areas of biotechnological application such as genomics, bioinformatics, molecular genetics, protein chemistry, bio-business and entrepreneurism, and bioethics.
In the Business component, students acquire the expertise and practical skills necessary to deal with real-life business situations.
