The Bachelor of Communication (Social and Political Sciences) Bachelor of International Studies at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is a combined degree program that offers comprehensive education in the interrelated disciplines of communication studies, social and political sciences, and international studies.
The program aims to provide students with a deep understanding of the role of communication in society, politics, culture, and global affairs. The students also gain expertise in analysing the social and political dimensions of communication through a variety of perspectives in sociology, anthropology, and political science.
The program includes subjects on social research, media production, public relations, social structures, international politics, and global issues. In international studies, students undertake a major study in a global society and culture, including a full year of in-country study, providing them with international experience, and intercultural communication skills.
