The Honours Bachelor of Business Administration program offers students a comprehensive understanding of business fundamentals, digital commerce, finance, accounting, human resources and marketing in the digital economy. Graduates from the BBA in Digital Economy and Digital Marketing program can find potential careers in fintech, digital transformation, digital marketing and social media. Potential career opportunities include: The 2020 Future of Jobs Survey by the World Economic Forum predicts the growing demand for specialists in big data analysis, digital marketing, business development, digital transformation, and other emerging technologies. Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) tracks 33 occupational classifications, reporting 2.6 million Canadians working in these positions in 2018. Before COVID-19, ESDC projected 1.1 million employment openings by 2028, mainly due to retirements (58%), with IT, HR, finance and marketing roles having the most opportunities. This highest growth was predicted in senior management, information security, finance and consulting roles. The pandemic has accelerated the shift to e-commerce, digital business strategists and digital transformation, leading to more opportunities for graduates of this program. This institution (University of Niagara Falls Canada) has been granted a consent by the Minister of Colleges and Universities to offer this program for a seven-year term starting October 14, 2022.
