UCEED Dates 2027

A UCEED 2027 candidate's calendar holds two kinds of dates. IIT Bombay has confirmed exactly one date for 2027: the exam day itself. Every other date around it still follows the 2026 cycle's pattern, because the 2027 brochure isn't out yet.

IIT Bombay has said it will release the full 2027 details by 1 October 2026. This includes the brochure, registration window, fee and pattern. Until then, this page marks every date one of two ways: "confirmed for 2027" or "2026 cycle, most recently published." That labeling runs through the whole page, so nothing here gets mistaken for an official 2027 announcement.

UCEED 2027 has exactly one confirmed date right now. Everything else here sits around it as a 2026 cycle reference.

Every other milestone below comes from the UCEED 2026 cycle, the most recently published one. It is shown as a reference until IIT Bombay releases fresh 2027 dates.

UCEED overview 2027 registration has not opened yet, and IIT Bombay has not announced a date for it. The 2026 cycle, the most recently published one, opened registration on 1 October 2025 at 1:00 pm. Regular registration closed on 5 November 2025. A late window, with an extra fee, ran until 10 November 2025 at 5:00 pm.

A late window like this usually costs more than the base fee. The UCEED 2027 registration page covers the exact fee difference and the full category-wise fee table.

UCEED 2027's admit card date isn't out yet. It depends on the registration window that comes first. In the 2026 cycle, admit card download began on 2 January 2026 at 1:00 pm, through the candidate portal.

A correction window followed right after. It stayed open only until 8 January 2026 at 5:00 pm, and only through the portal.

The UCEED admit card 2027 page covers what to do if a detail on the card is wrong.

IIT Bombay will hold UCEED 2027 on Sunday, 17 January 2027, in the forenoon session. This is the one date IIT Bombay has already confirmed for 2027, announced on 25 May 2026.

IIT Bombay hasn't confirmed the exact start and end time for 2027 yet, only that it falls in the forenoon. The 2026 cycle's exam ran from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, a three-hour paper. That is the closest reference point available right now.

UCEED releases a provisional answer key before the final one. It lets candidates object to the provisional key, a step not every entrance exam offers. 2027-specific answer key dates aren't out yet. In the 2026 cycle, the draft answer key (Part-A only) came out on 20 January 2026. Candidates had until 22 January 2026, 5:00 pm, about two days, to raise objections through the portal.

The final answer key followed on 28 January 2026, and IIT Bombay announced cutoff marks on 5 February 2026.

Counselling dates for 2027 depend on the result date, so nothing is fixed yet. In the 2026 cycle, the B.Des admission application window ran from 14 March to 10 April 2026.

Seat allotment followed in five rounds: 21 April, 19 May, 10 June, 24 June and 9 July 2026. IIT Bombay marks these round dates tentative each cycle. They can shift depending on how each round's responses come in.

UCEED's calendar has followed a fairly steady rhythm across recent cycles. Registration comes in October, the exam in January, and the result in March. The confirmed 2027 exam date fits this same shape. 17 January 2027 sits close to the 18 January 2026 exam date, both mid-January Sundays.

This page will not stretch that into a detailed year-by-year table beyond what IIT Bombay has actually published. A broader multi-year date archive isn't available from official sources yet. The pattern itself has held consistently enough. A reader can use the 2026 cycle's dates as a reasonable planning reference until the 2027 brochure is out.
