The JMI NIRF ranking in the latest list, India Rankings 2025, is 13th overall with a score of 66.99. In the University category, JMI ranks 4th with a score of 69.10. So the JMI ranking is 13th among all institutions and 4th among universities. JMI has posted its NIRF 2026 data submission on jmi.ac.in, but NIRF had not published the 2026 results on 8 October 2026. This JMI ranking in India will change when it does. The JMI NIRF ranking 2026 will then replace these numbers.

Which JMI Parameter Scores Best in NIRF?

Graduation Outcomes is the best JMI score, at 92.56 out of 100, and Outreach and Inclusivity follows at 83.83. The table shows all five parameters in the University category for 2025.

QS World University Rankings 2027 places JMI at joint 686, up from the 761-770 band in the 2026 edition. JMI's own ranking page lists the QS positions in the table. The earlier editions sat in the 751-800 band for five years in a row. The JMI QS ranking therefore improved in the latest edition.

How Did the JMI QS Ranking Change in 2027?

JMI moved up by roughly 75 to 84 places in QS 2027. The 2026 edition placed JMI in the 761-770 band, and the 2027 edition places it at joint 686. JMI holds the certificate for the 2027 edition on its IQAC page, dated June 2026. QS Asia and Southern Asia positions are for 2026.

The JMI ranking in THE World University Rankings 2027 is the 501-550 band. That is lower than the 401-500 band of the 2026 edition. THE released the 2027 list on 30 September 2026, and JMI announced it on 1 October 2026. In THE India 2026, JMI is placed 3rd, as per its IQAC certificate.

JMI also lists a Round University Ranking (RUR) position of 251 for 2025. THE rates universities on teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement and international outlook. A band is a range of places, so two universities in one band are not ranked against each other.

The JMI ranking is highest in Architecture and Planning (5th) and Law (8th) in NIRF 2025. The discipline lists rank institutions that offer those programmes. The table shows each list where JMI appears.

NIRF 2025 also has an SDG Institutions list, where JMI ranks 3rd behind IIT Madras and IARI. JMI does not appear in the NIRF 2025 lists for Pharmacy, Medical and College. These ranks are for the whole discipline in JMI, not for one branch such as Computer Engineering.
