MNIT Jaipur Fees Overview 2027
MNIT Jaipur's B.Tech tuition for students admitted in 2026-27 follows three income slabs. General and OBC candidates with family income above ₹5 lakh pay ₹62,500 a semester. Candidates with income from ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh pay ₹20,834 a semester. Candidates with income below ₹1 lakh pay no tuition. SC, ST and PwD candidates pay no tuition at any income (). The tuition and institute fee are the same as in 2025-26.
Every student pays ₹18,450 institute fee and ₹1,000 registration fee in each semester. The institute fee covers development, library, computer and internet, sports, tech fest and student welfare. It also covers internship and placement, examination, lab and alumni activity. At admission, a one-time payment of ₹16,600 applies. It has ₹15,000 refundable caution money, ₹100 for the identity card and ₹1,500 for the final degree certificate. Group insurance is ₹787.06 a year. An alumni membership fee of ₹1,000 falls in the 8th semester.
For a General student with income above ₹5 lakh, the eight-semester fee is about ₹6.61 lakh. This is ₹5,00,000 tuition, ₹1,47,600 institute fee, ₹8,000 registration fee and ₹1,600 of one-time charges that are not refundable. It also has ₹3,148 of insurance for four years and the ₹1,000 alumni fee. The refundable ₹15,000 caution money is extra. The first year costs about ₹1.81 lakh, with the caution money included.

MNIT Jaipur MBA Fees 2027
MNIT Jaipur's full-time MBA tuition for students admitted in 2026-27 is ₹50,000 a semester for General and OBC candidates. SC and ST candidates pay no tuition. Every MBA student pays ₹25,950 institute fee and ₹1,000 registration fee in each semester. The one-time payment at admission is ₹16,600, of which ₹15,000 is refundable. Group insurance is ₹787.06 a year, and the ₹1,000 alumni fee falls in the 4th semester. For a General student, the four-semester total is about ₹3.12 lakh. This leaves out the refundable caution money, hostel and mess (PG Fee Structure 2026-27, mnit.ac.in).
MNIT Jaipur Hostel and Other Fees
The Hostel Office issued the 2026-27 hostel fee and mess advance on 25 March 2026 (). A new student pays ₹52,000 in the first semester. A returning student pays ₹37,000 in each semester.

Room rent is ₹6,000 and light and water charges are ₹6,000 in each semester. The institute adjusts the mess advance against the actual mess bill when the student leaves the hostel. MNIT Jaipur does not publish a fixed mess charge. So treat ₹25,000 a semester as a planning figure for food. The actual mess bill decides the final amount.
Over eight semesters, room charges come to ₹96,000 and the one-time fee to ₹3,000. The mess advance comes to ₹2,00,000. That is ₹2,99,000 without the refundable ₹12,000 caution money. Added to the B.Tech fee of about ₹6.61 lakh, the four-year cost is about ₹9.6 lakh. These amounts apply only to students who take a hostel seat.
MNIT Jaipur Fee Payment Structure
Fees are paid semester-wise through the institute's own ERP portal, preferably by net banking (B.Tech Fee Structure 2026-27, mnit.ac.in). Debit card or draft is accepted only in special circumstances. The income category is below ₹1 lakh, ₹1-5 lakh or above ₹5 lakh. It is fixed using an annual family income certificate from the authority the Government of India designates. The fee circular does not say what happens if the certificate is missing at admission. Ask the MNIT Jaipur Academic Section in writing which slab applies until you submit it.
Is the MNIT Jaipur fee charged in full at the time of admission? No, MNIT Jaipur charges fees semester-wise across 8 semesters for B.Tech, not as one lump sum at admission. Only the one-time admission charges and the caution money apply once, in the first semester.

MNIT Jaipur Fee Refund and Cancellation Policy
MNIT Jaipur refunds only the caution money in most cases of withdrawal. The Senate approved the policy on 11 March 2025. The Academic Section issued it as an office order on 19 May 2025 (). It covers UG, PG and PhD students admitted through a central agency or the institute.
