No. IIM Mumbai has not published its MBA admission policy for Batch 2027-29. The Rs 25 lakh figure is the latest published MBA fee and belongs to Batch 2026-28. Treat these IIM Mumbai fees as a guide for the next batch, and check the admissions page after the CAT 2026 result.

The international MBA has the highest IIM Mumbai course fee at Rs 50 lakh for two years. Among the programmes open to Indian candidates, the BS has the highest course fee. The IIM Mumbai fees UG figure is the only one, because the BS is the only UG course. It runs for four years, so the cost per year is lower than the MBA.
The MBA-PGPM course fee on the Mumbai campus is Rs 18 lakh on the annual plan and Rs 19 lakh on the module-wise plan. At the outreach centres in Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Delhi, it is Rs 14.86 lakh and Rs 15.36 lakh. All include taxes. You also pay an application fee of Rs 3,000. A seat securing fee of Rs 1 lakh confirms your place. A refundable caution deposit of Rs 50,000 is extra. The IIM Mumbai fees for the regular PhD are low. Year 1 costs more than later years. The year-1 fee on campus has these parts: admission Rs 2,000, tuition Rs 24,000, facilities Rs 6,000 and hostel Rs 24,000. Alumni Rs 3,000, library Rs 1,000 and a Rs 5,000 deposit complete it. Scholars living off campus pay Rs 41,000 in year 1 and Rs 31,000 afterwards.
The Executive PhD costs Rs 1,85,000 in year 1 and Rs 1,50,000 a year after that. Alumni life membership of Rs 10,000 is paid after the viva.

The IIM Mumbai fees for the MBA are Rs 25 lakh for the two years. The figure is the same for the MBA, MBA-OSCM and MBA-SM. The policy calls it the gross programme fee. The international MBA costs Rs 50 lakh for two years, covering tuition and course material. Hostel rent is separate. International candidates pay an application fee of US$ 200.
The MBA policy lists mess charges and the mess deposit as separate IIM Mumbai fees. Mess fees are paid one year in advance as per institute norms. All hostel rooms at the campus are double occupancy. Costs Outside the Programme Fee
Mess fees and the mess deposit are not part of the Rs 25 lakh MBA fee. Add them to your IIM Mumbai fees budget. The international MBA fee leaves out hostel rent. The PGDEx-VLFM international trek costs extra.
The PGDEx-VLFM total fees include hostel charges. IIM Mumbai takes Rs 11.07 lakh, and IIT Delhi collects Rs 5.25 lakh separately. The table shows the IIM Mumbai part.

The MBA fee of Rs 25 lakh does not print a separate hostel rent, so confirm the room charge with the office. Some programmes bundle the hostel into the fee, as the PGDEx-VLFM and the One-Year PGPEx do.
IIM Mumbai fees are paid in instalments for the BS, weekend MBA, blended MBA and executive programmes. The tabs show each plan. This IIM Mumbai fees structure is for the batches named in the tabs. The MBA policy for Batch 2026-28 does not print an instalment schedule. Confirm the dates of the IIM Mumbai fees in your offer letter.
Four yearly instalments: Rs 7,95,000 in year 1, then Rs 7,75,000 in each of the next three years. A seat booking amount of Rs 1,00,000 confirms admission.
The MBA policy does not list instalments, so ask the admissions office. Write to admissions@iimmumbai.ac.in for the Batch 2027-29 payment schedule once the policy is out.
IIM Mumbai has no published fee waiver for the MBA in 2026, so plan to pay the full fee. IIM Mumbai scholarships do not lower the IIM Mumbai fees for the MBA in the current policy. PhD scholars with a valid test score receive a monthly stipend. The institute also lists a CSR route for students from underserved communities. The scholarship page explains each of these in full.
Not for the MBA group at present, so IIM Mumbai total fees stay as published, with no waiver on IIM Mumbai fees. The older waivers belonged to the NITIE years, and the current policy does not repeat them. The PhD stipend pays the scholar and does not cut any MBA fee.
IIM Mumbai fees are refunded in full except Rs 1,000 if you withdraw before the cut-off time. The admissions page shows the 2025-26 rule. The request must reach the institute by 5 pm on 12 June 2025. The balance then goes back under MoE Notification No. 14-4/2007-U.3(A). The institute has not yet printed the date for Batch 2026-28 or 2027-29. Ask before you pay any IIM Mumbai course fees.
The caution money is refunded only if you paid the full first-year fee. If you paid only Rs 1,00,000, nothing is refunded and the amount is forfeited. Withdrawal requests count only if sent through the admission portal.
Before classes start, the refund is the admission fee minus Rs 1,000. After classes start, nothing is refunded. After you pay the first-year fee, only the caution money comes back.
The BS application fee is Rs 2,000, or Rs 1,000 for SC, ST and PwD candidates, and it is never refunded. The MBA-PGPM application fee is Rs 3,000. The BPGP registration fee is Rs 2,500 and is not refundable.
