MDI Gurgaon Admission Overview
The MDI Gurgaon admission process for the PGDM family has two stages: a shortlist from your CAT score and profile, then WAT, GD and PI. One form covers the PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-IB, PGDM-Business Analytics and PGDM-BFS. The same form also covers the PGDM at MDI Murshidabad. CAT 2026 Is the Gate
CAT 2026 registration closed on 22 September 2026. Only candidates who registered can apply for the PGDM, HRM, Business Analytics and BFS, and Indian candidates cannot use GMAT for them.
How to Get Admission in MDI Gurgaon?
Register for CAT 2026, fill the MDI form by 28 November 2026, clear the WAT, GD and PI in February to April 2027, and wait for the final selection in April 2027. Pick your route below. The executive programmes have their own routes, and most of their 2026 rounds have closed.
PGDM, HRM, Business Analytics and BFS
Fresh graduates can apply. You need a CAT 2026 score, a three-year bachelor's degree and 50% in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation.
PGDM-IB
You need a four-year bachelor's degree and one year of work experience. A CAT 2026 score or a test-centre GMAT score counts.
PGDM Online, PGDM-BM, Business Administration, PPM and FPM

MDI Gurgaon Admission Dates 2027
The MDI Gurgaon admission dates for 2027-29 run from 24 September 2026 to the final selection in April 2027. CAT 2026 registration has closed, so only candidates with an existing CAT registration can use the PGDM form.

MDI Gurgaon Eligibility Criteria 2027
MDI Gurgaon admission criteria need 50% marks in Class 10, Class 12 and your bachelor's degree.The degree must run three years for the PGDM, HRM, Business Analytics and BFS. It must run four years for PGDM-IB. Any discipline is accepted, from a university recognised by AICTE or AIU.
- Marks: if your university has no CGPA scheme, MDI multiplies your CGPA by 9.5.
- PGDM-IB: you also need one year of work experience as on 31 January 2027, and a three-year degree is not enough.
- MDI Murshidabad: the same form covers its PGDM, with the same CAT 2026 score.
Can Final-Year Students Apply for MDI Gurgaon Admission?
Yes, the MDI Gurgaon admission requirements allow final-year students for the PGDM, HRM, Business Analytics and BFS. You must finish all degree requirements by 30 June 2027 and give proof by 31 October 2027. PGDM-IB does not take final-year students, because it needs a completed four-year degree and a year of work.

How Much Is the MDI Gurgaon Application Fee?
The application fee for MDI Gurgaon admission is Rs 3,000 with 18% GST, and you can select all programmes for that one fee. NRI and international candidates pay Rs 8,496.

Regional diversity applies to candidates from the North-East, Jammu and Kashmir, Andaman and Nicobar, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Ladakh and Lakshadweep. Sports counts only for national and international competitions.
How Does MDI Gurgaon Admission Differ for PGDM-BFS?
Only one Stage II line differs. For PGDM-BFS, your QA and DILR performance in CAT 2026 replaces the academic diversity score, and it carries 2.5%. BFS accepts CAT only, with no GMAT option.
MDI Gurgaon Shortlisting and Final Selection 2027
MDI Gurgaon shortlists you for WAT, GD and PI on your Stage I score, then ranks the final list on the Stage II score. Final selection is communicated in April 2027.
Aggregate and Sectional Scores Both Count
MDI says it checks the CAT aggregate and every section before it shortlists. The MDI Gurgaon admission process does not print the shortlist numbers or the sectional values.
Where Are the MDI Gurgaon WAT, GD and PI Held?
They are held in six cities, which are Bengaluru, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Only Gurugram is confirmed, because MDI marks the other centres as tentative. Plan your travel after the shortlist, and expect NRI interviews in April 2027.
