Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow is a private, AICTE-approved PGDM institute, and the founding campus of the Jaipuria group. Its clearest strength is accreditation. It holds NBA accreditation, plus AACSB International accreditation, a credential held by roughly 1% of Indian business schools (Jaipuria Lucknow homepage). It started in 1995, in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow (Jaipuria Lucknow campus page). Three sister campuses came later: Noida, Jaipur and Indore. Jaipuria Lucknow runs three PGDM programmes.
Two facts define this campus. First, its fee is published separately from its sister campuses. The total PGDM fee for the 2027-29 batch is ₹15,25,000 (Jaipuria Fee Structure). This is a Lucknow-specific number. Second, its placements page does not report Lucknow separately. It gives one combined number for all four campuses together. The highest package was ₹24.11 LPA. Over 1,100 students were placed. Both figures cover Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur and Indore together, not Lucknow alone (Jaipuria Placements). Lucknow's own median salary is ₹9,00,000, for the 2024-25 graduating batch, in the data it submitted for .
A third fact is worth naming early. Lucknow is the oldest Jaipuria campus. Yet on NIRF's Management ranking, it now trails a younger sibling. Noida ranked 41st in NIRF 2025. Lucknow ranked 67th in the same cycle (Jaipuria NIRF 2025 announcement, ANI/Business Standard). Lucknow's own rank did improve. It climbed from 72nd in 2024 to 67th in 2025. But the gap to Noida remains real.
Who Jaipuria Lucknow suits: a CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT or GMAT scorer who wants the group's oldest, AACSB-accredited campus. This candidate should be comfortable with a composite selection process. There is no published cutoff. This candidate should also be willing to check the campus-specific fee against a group-wide placement figure.
Who should check twice: an applicant who wants Lucknow's average package or recruiter list. Neither is published for Lucknow alone. Anyone deciding purely on NIRF rank should also pause. One of Jaipuria's other campuses, Noida, currently ranks ahead of Lucknow.
You get a full-time, AICTE-approved PGDM. The total cost is ₹15,25,000 for the 2027-29 batch. This covers the group's founding campus, with NBA and AACSB accreditation. It also gives access to the group-wide placement process. Hostel is billed separately (Jaipuria Fees).
Choose it if a composite-score PGDM fits your exam profile. You should be comfortable with group-wide, not campus-specific, placement reporting. Check twice if you need a Lucknow-only placement number. Also check twice if you want the highest possible NIRF rank inside the group. Noida currently outranks Lucknow.

Jaipuria Lucknow runs three full-time PGDM programmes. Each runs two years. Each needs a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks, or an equivalent CGPA (Jaipuria Admissions):
The total PGDM fee for the 2027-29 batch is ₹15,25,000. Year 1 costs ₹7,70,000. Year 2 costs ₹7,55,000. The fee is paid across six trimesters (Jaipuria Fee Structure). This is the Lucknow-specific figure. It sits below Noida's ₹16,50,000. It sits above Jaipur's ₹14,75,000 and Indore's ₹13,50,000 for the same batch. A cross-campus comparison only works if you check each campus's own fee page, not a single group number.
Hostel costs extra. A Girls AC Single room costs ₹2,10,000 a year. An AC Double room, open to both girls and boys, costs ₹1,35,000 a year (2026-27 rates). A refundable ₹10,000 hostel deposit also applies (Jaipuria Lucknow Admissions). GST and mess charges are extra. See the Jaipuria Lucknow fees page for the full breakdown, payment schedule and refund policy.
Three full-time PGDM programmes are listed: general PGDM, PGDM (Financial Services) and PGDM (Retail Management). All run two years, across six trimesters. PGDM and PGDM (Financial Services) cost ₹15,25,000 each. The 2027-29 fee table does not list Retail Management.
No. Lucknow's ₹15,25,000 sits below Noida's ₹16,50,000, for the same 2027-29 batch. It sits above Jaipur's ₹14,75,000 and Indore's ₹13,50,000.
Yes, Jaipuria runs a Trimester Exchange Programme, where a student spends one full academic trimester at a partner university abroad. The Office of International Relations lists 15+ partner universities in Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Middle East, shared by all four Jaipuria campuses. The Jaipuria Lucknow homepage names partners such as Keele University (UK), Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Germany), KEDGE Business School (France) and the University of New Brunswick (Canada). Jaipuria does not publish the eligibility rule, the credit transfer terms or the number of students sent in the latest year, so ask the admission office on +91 8800495724 before you plan for it.

Admission runs in three steps. First, submit the common application form and name Lucknow as your preferred campus. Second, pay a non-refundable ₹1,000 processing fee. Third, submit your academic record, test score and work-experience details (Jaipuria Admissions). Interviews are by invitation only, based on your aptitude test score.
Selection uses a composite score, not a single cutoff. The aptitude test counts for 45%. The personal interview counts for 25%. Academic performance across Class 10, 12 and degree counts for 15%. Case analysis counts for 10%. Work experience and extracurriculars count for 3%. Diversity counts for 2% (Jaipuria Admissions). The official site does not publish a specific deadline calendar for this cycle. See the Jaipuria Lucknow admission page for the full process.
Submit the common application, name Lucknow as your preferred campus, then pay a non-refundable ₹1,000 processing fee. An invitation-only interview follows, based on your test score.
You need a bachelor's degree of at least three years, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. You also need a valid score in CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT or GMAT.
Read this carefully. The placements page gives four-campus combined numbers. They are not broken out for Lucknow alone. For the 2024-26 batch, group-wide: the highest package was ₹24.11 LPA. The top-10% average was ₹14.7 LPA. The top-20% average was ₹13.18 LPA. The placement rate was 97%. Over 1,100 students were placed, across 300+ recruiters (Jaipuria Placements). Banking and Financial Services led hiring, at 37%. IT/ITES followed at 15%. Consulting and Research took 13%.
For Lucknow alone, the placements page gives no placement percentage, average package or recruiter list. The NIRF 2026 data gives two Lucknow figures for the 2024-25 graduating batch. Of 351 graduates, 341 were placed. The median salary was ₹9,00,000. See the Jaipuria Lucknow placement page for what this group-wide reporting means for a Lucknow applicant.
Yes. The 2024-26 batch figures are combined for all four campuses. For Lucknow alone, the latest figure is the ₹9,00,000 median for 2024-25 graduates, from the NIRF 2026 data.
Jaipuria Lucknow does not publish a fixed cutoff rank or percentile. Selection uses the composite score described above. The entrance test counts for 45% of the total. Academics, interview, case analysis, work experience and diversity make up the rest (Jaipuria Admissions). Third-party sites mention a "typical" CAT/XAT band of roughly 75-85 percentile. Jaipuria Lucknow does not publish this band. It is not a published cutoff. See the [Jaipuria Lucknow cutoff](Jaipuria Lucknow cutoff page) page for the full picture.
No fixed minimum is published. Your test score counts for only 45% of a composite score, alongside interview, academics, case analysis, work experience and diversity.
Jaipuria's scholarship pool is stated at ₹10 crore, group-wide. Awards go first-come, first-served, after the first fee instalment. The merit ladder runs by CAT percentile. A 90%+ score gets ₹5,00,000. An 80-90% score gets ₹3,50,000. A 70-80% score gets ₹2,50,000. A separate sibling scholarship of ₹1,00,000 is also available (Jaipuria Lucknow Admissions). The ladder is for the 2026-28 batch. Jaipuria has not published one for 2027-29 yet. See the Jaipuria Lucknow scholarship page for full eligibility.
₹5,00,000, for a CAT percentile of 90 or above, awarded first-come, first-served from a group-wide ₹10 crore pool.
No. Awards go first-come, first-served after the first fee instalment. Clearing the percentile band alone does not guarantee the award.
Jaipuria Lucknow's NIRF Management rank has moved year by year. It went 78th in 2022, 92nd in 2023, 72nd in 2024, and 67th in 2025. Its 2025 score is 50.86. This is a genuine recovery after the 2023 dip. The source is the government's own ranking portal (NIRF Management Ranking 2025, nirfindia.org).
Jaipuria Lucknow also holds an MBAUniverse.com rank of 47th for 2026, with a Grade of AA. See the Jaipuria Lucknow rankings page for the full trend, and a comparison against the other three campuses.
No. Jaipuria Noida ranked 41st in NIRF Management 2025, 26 places ahead of Lucknow's 67th, in the same cycle.
Jaipuria Lucknow accepts five entrance exams for its PGDM programmes: CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT and GMAT (Jaipuria Admissions). There is no exam-specific split by programme. All three PGDM tracks accept the same five exams.
All three programmes accept the same five exams. Your choice of exam does not depend on which PGDM specialisation you want.
Jaipuria Lucknow operates from the Jaipuria Innovation and Incubation Centre. It sits on Hahnemann Road, Vineet Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow (Google Business Profile listing). The institute states separate hostel blocks. One is for women only, an AC Single block. One serves both men and women, an AC Double block (Jaipuria Lucknow Admissions). The official site does not publish an exact campus area in acres. It does not publish a library seat count or a lab-by-lab breakdown either. This is a genuine gap on the institute's own pages, not something we chose to leave out.
Yes. A Girls AC Single block and a mixed AC Double block are both billed separately from tuition. Both carry a refundable ₹10,000 deposit.
Jaipuria Lucknow sits in Vineet Khand, Gomti Nagar. It is roughly 25-30 minutes by road from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (LKO). It is a similar distance from Lucknow Charbagh Junction, the city's main railway station. The closer rail option is Gomti Nagar station, inside the same locality. See the Jaipuria Lucknow How to Reach page for routes, fares and first-time-visitor notes.

Students rate Jaipuria Lucknow 4.2 out of 5 on Google. On Reddit, they see it as the main private MBA choice in Lucknow after IIM Lucknow. They doubt the pay against the fee and dislike the shared placement pool.

How to Read These Jaipuria Lucknow Reviews
These are personal opinions of applicants, students, alumni and friends of students. "Strong" means two or more platforms, or several different people, agree. "Single View" means one person's account. First-hand accounts from Jaipuria Lucknow students are few, so the evidence is thin on classes, workload, hostel and food, and we say nothing on them. Some posts speak about all four Jaipuria campuses. We used them only when they named Lucknow or described the shared placement process. A few accounts defend the college in many threads, so we counted their posts as Single View. Fees, placements and rankings on this page come from Jaipuria Lucknow's own data. Labels: Students Like This and Students Dislike This show the direction. Mixed Views means opinions are split or worth checking yourself. One Student's View is a single account.
Students say your own effort decides your result, and that one placement pool for four campuses raises the competition. They also doubt the roles and the promotional numbers.
👥Students Dislike ThisOne Pool for Four CampusesStudents say placement is run centrally for all Jaipuria campuses, so many students compete for each company. A commenter on the Noida campus (February 2025) calls it the biggest weakness. Posts in March 2025, May 2025 and March 2026 describe the same shared pool. Most of these voices are from other campuses, but Lucknow students join the same pool. Evidence: Strong, on Reddit.📊Mixed ViewsEffort and Profile DecideA poster in March 2025 says a CGPA above 7.5 and active effort can lead to a good result. In a 2025-26 thread, a commenter says friends at the Noida and Lucknow campuses found placements steady but not high, and students who worked hard got solid roles. In February 2026, another poster says a student with strong marks can get a good job from a tier 2 college. Evidence: Strong, on Reddit, but mostly about the whole group.💼Mixed ViewsMany Roles Are Sales or Routine WorkIn October 2025, one commenter says most students end up in sales roles, and another says typical jobs are routine work in big cities. A March 2026 poster says the same about sales. None of them clearly speaks from a Lucknow graduate's own job. Evidence: three voices, on Reddit.🔎Mixed ViewsPromotional Numbers Are DoubtedIn February 2025, a commenter tells applicants not to trust what the college says about placements and to ask students directly. In October 2025, another says the results are weaker than brochures claim. Use the audited report, not claims in posts. What This Means for You
| Point | What it means for you | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| 👥 One pool for four campuses | You compete with students from other Jaipuria campuses for the same companies. | Ask which companies came for Lucknow students and how many offers Lucknow students got. |
| 📊 Effort decides | A middle rank in the batch may mean fewer shortlists. | Aim for strong grades from the first term and build your CV early. |
| 💼 Sales or routine roles | If you want a non-sales role, your choices may be fewer. | Ask for the role-wise list of last year's offers before you pick a specialisation. |
| 🔎 Doubt on promotional numbers | You should not rely on one average figure. | Compare the audited report on the Jaipuria Lucknow placements page with what two or three alumni tell you. |
The fee against the pay is the most common worry. Many posters say the return is thin for the fee, while a few say the college is fair for its level.
💸Students Dislike ThisReturn Looks Thin for the FeePosters from February 2025 to October 2025 say the return is weak. One who says they are from the college (February 2025) says you will not get a return on the fee, though the rest is good. A May 2025 r/lucknow commenter ranks it second in the city but warns that the return is low. A March 2025 poster says it is not worth the fee for the job it leads to. Evidence: Strong, on Reddit.⚖️Students Like ThisFair for Its LevelIn a 2025-26 thread, two commenters say the fee is balanced against outcomes compared with other private colleges that charge a similar fee. Both speak from friends' experience at the Noida and Lucknow campuses. Evidence: not strong, because both views are second-hand and from one thread.📈One Student's ViewPay Grows After the First JobOne commenter in March 2025 says students judge a college by first-year pay alone, while the degree and network work for a whole career. What This Means for You
| Point | What it means for you | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| 💸 Thin return | A loan may take long to repay if you land an average offer. | Work out your monthly instalment against a realistic first salary, not the top package. See the Jaipuria Lucknow fees page. |
| ⚖️ Fair for its level | If your other offers are weaker or cost more, the fee may be acceptable. | Compare total cost and likely pay across two or three offers. |
| 📈 Pay grows later | Judging only first-year pay may undersell the degree. | Ask alumni from three to five years ago where they work now. |
Students name Jaipuria Lucknow first among private colleges in the city, after IIM Lucknow. They disagree on its tier, and they call it a safe option after a weak CAT score.
📍Students Like ThisMain Private Choice in the CityIn r/lucknow threads from August 2024, May 2025, August 2025 and March 2026, commenters name Jaipuria when asked for an MBA college in Lucknow. They usually put it right after IIM Lucknow. In March 2026, one adds that Institute of Management Sciences at the University of Lucknow is another option. Evidence: Strong, on r/lucknow.📚One Student's ViewLearning Better Than the Tier LabelIn a 2025-26 thread of colleges to avoid, one commenter says friends at the Noida and Lucknow campuses found the learning environment, faculty and industry exposure better than expected. This is second-hand.🏷️Mixed ViewsThe Tier Label Is DebatedIn October 2025, one poster calls Jaipuria a tier 3 college with weak placements, and another says it does better than several tier 2 colleges. Evidence: Strong that opinions are split.🛟Mixed ViewsA Safe Option After a Weak CATPosts in December 2025, January 2026 and February 2026 list Jaipuria among colleges for applicants with a modest CAT score who cannot take a drop year. Most posts name Jaipuria in general, not Lucknow alone. Evidence: Strong, on Reddit.🚆One Student's ViewJobs May Be Outside LucknowOne commenter in October 2025 says private-sector jobs in Lucknow are limited, so graduates move to bigger cities. Another commenter objected to this view of the city. We found no other view. What This Means for You

|---|---|---|
| 📍 Main private choice | If you want to stay in Lucknow, this is the private college people name first. | Compare it with IIM Lucknow only if your score allows both, and see the Jaipuria Lucknow ranking page for its standing. |
| 📚 Learning environment | Students' own words on classes and workload are scarce. | Speak to two current students before you decide. |
| 🏷️ Tier debate | People will judge the name differently, so the college name alone may not decide your future. | Judge it by the roles and recruiters on the placements page. |
| 🛟 Safe option | It may be a reasonable backup if you cannot take a drop year. | If you can repeat CAT with a job alongside, compare that plan with a loan-funded offer here. |
| 🚆 Jobs outside Lucknow | You may need to move to a bigger city for your first job. | Ask where last year's batch took up its jobs. See how to reach Jaipuria Lucknow for the campus location. |
We read 22 Reddit threads that discuss Jaipuria, mostly from 2025 and 2026. Seven are from r/lucknow, and the rest speak about the Jaipuria group, other campuses or MBA choices in general. Reddit pages gave us the post and comment extracts shown in search results, not every comment in full. We also searched Quora, PaGaLGuY, public LinkedIn and X for student accounts.
We kept posts from students, alumni, applicants and their friends that gave specific detail, with 2025 and 2026 posts first. We counted posts about other campuses only when they described the shared placement process or named Lucknow.
We left out aggregator review pages, paid or promoted posts, college material, AI summaries, jokes, deleted posts and short replies. We left out any fee, cutoff, package or rank quoted in a post, and serious claims we could not check. The Quora answers about Jaipuria were old, undated, one line long, or part of a campaign run by the college, so we used none. The LinkedIn posts by students and alumni were announcements, not opinions, and PaGaLGuY and X only had official or old pages.
The Google rating and review count come from the public Google Maps page. No point on this page rests on Google review text beyond the rating.
We found very little first-hand detail on classes, workload, clubs, hostel rooms and food at Jaipuria Lucknow, so we say nothing on them here. Read the Jaipuria Lucknow fees and Jaipuria Lucknow placements pages for the official figures.
Jaipuria Lucknow is worth it if you want to study in Lucknow, can stay in the upper part of the batch and do not need to borrow most of the fee. Think twice if you expect high pay, want a non-sales role or want a small placement pool.

Two Jaipuria campuses, two different fact sets
Jaipuria Institute of Management has four separate campuses: Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur and Indore. Each has its own fee and its own NIRF rank. Lucknow's fee (₹15,25,000) and NIRF rank (67th, 2025) are specific to this campus. Its placement figures, by contrast, cover all four campuses as one combined number. Always confirm which campus a figure applies to.

Answers to what readers ask most often.
It is the founding campus (1995) of the AACSB and NBA-accredited Jaipuria group. Its NIRF Management rank is 67 in 2025, up from 72 in 2024. It suits a composite-score PGDM applicant who is comfortable with group-wide, not Lucknow-only, placement reporting.
₹15,25,000 for the full two-year PGDM, 2027-29 batch. This splits as ₹7,70,000 in Year 1 and ₹7,55,000 in Year 2, excluding hostel. Source: Jaipuria's official fee page.
No, no fixed cutoff is published on the official site. Selection uses a composite score instead, where the entrance test counts for 45%, alongside interview, academics, case analysis, work experience and diversity.
₹24.11 LPA, for the 2024-26 batch. This is a combined figure across all four Jaipuria campuses (Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur, Indore), not Lucknow alone.
