IIM Kozhikode cutoff means the lowest CAT percentile you must clear to register. It is a floor. It is not a rank-style number, and it is not the score that gets you an interview call.
Clearing the Cutoff Does Not Give You a Call
The IIM Kozhikode cutoff only registers you. IIMK then ranks all registered candidates on the Aggregate Index Score and calls the top of each category.
As an illustration from the published numbers, take a General candidate with a 92 overall percentile and 70 in one section. The section is 5 percentile below the minimum of 75, so the candidate misses the IIM Kozhikode cutoff and is not registered.

No, IIM Kozhikode publishes neither an interview-call cutoff nor closing ranks. It builds a shortlist in each category from an Aggregate Index Score. The number shortlisted depends on the batch size planned, as per the 2026-28 admissions policy.
IIM Kozhikode cutoff 2026 for the next cycle will come from the policy released after CAT 2026. The latest published figures are for CAT 2025 and the 2026-28 batch. They are your best guide today, and the IIM Kozhikode previous year cutoff is the base for planning. IIMK has not announced an IIM Kozhikode cutoff for CAT 2026.

Both programmes also take GRE or GMAT scores.

IIM Kozhikode section-wise CAT cutoff 2026 means the lowest percentile you can have in each CAT section. A low score in one section can end your registration even when your overall percentile is high. The sectional IIM Kozhikode cutoff is as strict as the overall one. For the PGP, General candidates need 75 in every section.

No, there is no IIM Kozhikode cutoff for the BMS in CAT percentile, because the BMS does not use CAT. Admission to the BMS goes through the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test, your Class 10 and Class 12 marks and a personal interview. IIMK asks for no minimum Class 12 percentage, as per the BMS FAQs. See the BMS admission page for the latest rules.
Yes, a score below the IIM Kozhikode cutoff for any section removes you before the shortlist. All sections must show a positive scaled score. Each section must also clear the IIM Kozhikode cutoff for your category.
Yes, the IIM Kozhikode course wise cutoff differs for the PGP, PGP-Finance and PGP-LSM, as the table above shows. PGP-Finance leans on Quant and DI. PGP-LSM leans on Verbal and Reasoning. A course wise cut off also applies to PGP-BL, which has its own rules.
IIM Kozhikode uses the scaled scores of all three CAT sections with equal weight for the PGP. This CAT Index Score carries 50 percent of the Aggregate Index Score. For PGP-Finance, Quant and DI carry 20 percent each. For PGP-LSM, Verbal and Reasoning together carry 40 percent. These scores matter only after you clear the IIM Kozhikode cutoff.
IIM Kozhikode category-wise cutoff 2026 differs for General, OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, ST and PwD candidates. The table shows the PGP minimums for the 2026-28 batch. This is the IIM Kozhikode cutoff by category for CAT 2025. IIMK also sets minimum marks in Class 10 and Class 12.
| Category | CAT overall and section percentile | Class 10 and Class 12 marks |
|---|---|---|
| General | 85 overall, 75 each section | 60% and 60% |
| OBC-NCL and EWS | 75 overall, 65 each section | 60% and 60% |

Female and transgender candidates get 10 points out of 100 in the Aggregate Index Score. A candidate with a non-engineering bachelor's gets 5 points. You can get only one of the two. These points sit on top of the IIM Kozhikode cutoff, not in place of it. In the 2025-27 batch, the PGP had 55 percent women and 53 percent non-engineers.
Yes, IIM Kozhikode prepares the shortlist in each category separately. The category wise cutoff for a call is therefore not one number for all. The IIM Kozhikode category wise cutoff for a call is never printed. IIMK follows the Government of India reservation policy for Central Educational Institutions, as per the admissions policy.
The IIM Kozhikode category wise cut off for Class 10 and Class 12 is 60 percent for General and OBC-NCL. It is 55 percent for SC, ST and PwD. These IIM Kozhikode cutoff marks must show on your marksheets. Graduation needs 60 percent, or 50 percent for CA, CMA and CS.
IIM Kozhikode expected cutoff 2026 is not a published number, so treat any single figure you read as a guess. Until the 2027-29 policy is out, use the CAT 2025 minimums as your base. Plan to clear every minimum with a margin. Plan around the IIM Kozhikode cutoff, not around rumours.
You have no work-experience points, so your CAT score and your Class 10 and 12 marks carry the profile. Keep every CAT section above its floor.
The IIM Kozhikode expected cut off after CAT 2026 will follow the new admissions policy for the 2027-29 batch. The IIM Kozhikode expected cutoff for General is likely to stay close to the CAT 2025 minimums. The 2026-28 policy is the best guide. Treat expected cut off talk on forums as unofficial. The IIM Kozhikode previous year cut off rules are the only ones IIMK has published.
Use the IIM Kozhikode cutoff marks 2026 as a floor, then aim above them. The IIM Kozhikode cutoff marks 2026 for Class 10 and 12 stay at 55 to 60 percent. A candidate scoring only at the floor registers but may not be shortlisted. The IIM Kozhikode admission cut off for the shortlist is never published. The shortlist ranks all registered candidates, so margin on each component helps you.
Several factors move your IIM Kozhikode cutoff position. Once you clear every IIM Kozhikode cut off, strength in one area can balance a weaker one. These are your CAT scaled score, your board marks, your diversity points and your work experience. The batch size and the applicant pool also change how many candidates get calls.

Non-engineers get 5. You can claim only one.💼Up to 5Work ExperienceFull-time paid work after graduation gives up to 5 points. An 85 percentile General score only clears the IIM Kozhikode cutoff and registers you. It does not get you a call. The average selection rate is less than one in a hundred candidates, as per the official PGP admission page. Your rank also depends on marks in Class 10 and Class 12.
Board marks change the IIM Kozhikode admission cutoff through an adjustment, once you clear the IIM Kozhikode cutoff for registration. IIMK divides your Class 10 score by the highest score of your board. It uses three years of CAT applicant data and multiplies by 15. Class 12 follows the same method, multiplied by 20 and applied by stream.
Yes, the CAT index counts again at the final stage, but with a lower weight. The final score gives 35 percent to CAT and 35 percent to the PI. The WAT gets 20 percent and the resume gets 10 percent. The IIM Kozhikode admission cut off for offers is your merit list rank, not a CAT score.
