You then wait for the Stage 2 shortlist on the IIMK portal, download your call letter and report with original documents. IIMK states that all communication comes only from its admissions office. IIM Kozhikode runs the PI as a panel interview after the essay. The panel looks at academic effort, general awareness, social outlook, attitude, personality, communication and work-experience quality. Candidates are assigned to panels at random, and IIMK does not share interview scores.

The IIM Kozhikode admission criteria give up to 5 points for work experience. You need at least 6 months of full-time paid work after graduation, counted up to 31 December 2025 in the last cycle. Internships, articleship and part-time work do not count. A score of 5 points comes at 35 to 36 months.

The resume score at IIM Kozhikode is 10 percent of the final score, and it rewards professional qualifications. You get 5 points for CA, CMA or CS, and 5 points for CFA level 1, 2 or 3. These points matter in the final merit list only.

After the offer, you accept it by the stated date and pay Rs 1,00,000 with the acceptance. Then you register on the registration day and pay the required fees. If you miss any formality, the seat goes to the next candidate on the waiting list.
