MICA scholarship 2027 is a merit-cum-means award that covers 25% to 100% of tuition, and students apply after they join MICA. MICA gives 25 to 30 awards a year across all its programmes. Family income must not exceed ₹10 lakh a year. This page gives MICA scholarship details for the awards, the eligibility rules, the process and the numbers. It uses only what MICA publishes on its scholarships page, so the MICA scholarship information here is complete for 2027.

No. The award goes to students currently pursuing studies at MICA. So plan your first-year fee without it, and apply once MICA invites applications.
No. MICA marks the FPM as a programme with no scholarship. It already waives tuition and pays a monthly stipend, which the fees page covers.
MICA has two scholarship types: the merit-cum-means scholarship and the Equity Scholarship. The table shows who gets each and how much. These two MICA scholarship schemes are all that its scholarships page lists for 2027.
| MICA scholarship | Who gets it | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Merit-cum-means | PGDM-C, PGDM, PGCM-AMC and PGCM-DMMC students | 25% to 100% of tuition |
| Equity Scholarship | 1 or 2 first-year PGDM-C or PGDM students | Up to ₹5 lakh |
The merit-cum-means award is the main MICA merit scholarship, and 25 to 30 of them go to students across all programmes. The Equity Scholarship is a small award for one or two first-year students of the PGDM-C or PGDM. Prof. Bikram Bindra, MICA's adjunct faculty, sponsors it. An Equity applicant writes a separate justification.
Their admission pages show a scholarship as available, but the scholarships page names only four programmes. Ask MICA for the criteria that apply to your programme.
The MICA scholarship amount lies between 25% and 100% of the tuition fee of your programme. The Equity Scholarship gives up to ₹5 lakh. MICA does not say how many students get each share.
MICA scholarship eligibility starts with family income not exceeding ₹10 lakh a year. Four more points are checked, and the cards list them. These are the MICA scholarship details 2027 that decide a case. These rules apply to the PGDM-C, PGDM, PGCM-AMC and PGCM-DMMC.

The Equity Scholarship needs its own separate justification.
Only students who have already joined MICA can apply. MICA applies the CGPA and attendance rule only to second-year applicants, who must show their first-year record. First-year applicants face the income and background checks.
No. The rule says family income must not exceed ₹10 lakh a year. MICA checks income-tax returns and bank statements of every earning member to confirm it.
You apply for the MICA scholarship after you join, when MICA notifies students that applications are open. MICA publishes no application form, dates or portal link for it. The steps below follow the process MICA describes.
Step 1
Take Admission and Join MICA
The scholarship is for students currently studying at MICA.
Step 2
Watch for the Notification
MICA invites scholarship applications by an announcement to its students.
Step 3
Apply With Your Papers
Send your justification note and the income documents MICA asks for.
Step 4
Attend the Interview
Shortlisted students meet the MICA Scholarships Committee.
Step 5
Read the Official Notice
MICA tells each shortlisted student whether the scholarship is received or not.
Ask four things in writing, because MICA's page leaves them open. First, when scholarship applications open for your batch. Second, how many awards your programme gets. Third, how a second-year award is handled. Fourth, whether a scholarship covers the Sports Management or CSC programme you chose. Send the questions to admissions@micamail.in.
MICA names income-tax returns and bank statements as the key documents for its scholarship. It asks for them for all earning members of your family for the last 3 years. MICA publishes no fuller checklist, so ask the office what else is needed.
Returns of all earning family members for the last 3 years.
Statements of all earning family members for the last 3 years.
For second-year applicants, the first-year CGPA of at least 3.00 and attendance of at least 80%.
Certificates of state, national or international competitions you have won.
A brief note on why you need the scholarship. The Equity Scholarship needs a separate one.
MICA scholarship selection is a five-stage process that ends with the Director and CEO and the Dean. MICA calls the process rigorous. The final discretion to award the scholarship rests with MICA management.
Stage 1
Notification
MICA invites applications from its students.
Stage 2
Preliminary Scrutiny
MICA checks the applications and financial documents against the criteria.
Stage 3
Interview
Shortlisted students speak with the MICA Scholarships Committee of faculty and staff.
Stage 4
Approval
The committee sends its recommendations to the Director and CEO and the Dean.
Stage 5
Official Notice
MICA informs each shortlisted student of the result.
MICA states a second-year rule for applicants: a CGPA of at least 3.00 and 80% attendance in year 1. It does not say how a renewal is handled, so ask the Scholarships Committee in writing.
MICA scholarship statistics are limited to one rule and two data points: at most 25 to 30 awards a year, and 5 students with full tuition reimbursed. MICA's NIRF 2026 data sheet counts 5 students who received full tuition reimbursement from institution funds, out of 408 students in its two-year programmes. The NIRF 2025 sheet counted 4. MICA does not publish award counts by programme.

Fees are the other side of the numbers. The PGDM-C and PGDM fee is about ₹29.50 lakh for batch 2027-29, as MICA shows it, and the fees page has the full table. A scholarship covers tuition only, so it will not cover the whole fee unless MICA states otherwise.
An award is rare. The four named programmes have 340 seats in a batch: 180 in the PGDM-C, 60 in the PGDM, 60 in the PGCM-AMC and 40 in the PGCM-DMMC. Set 25 to 30 awards against 340 seats, and it is about 7% to 9% as an illustration. MICA does not say how awards split between first and second years, so plan your loan for the full fee and treat any award as a bonus.
