The IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship suits a full-time Ph.D. scholar, and an MBA student from a covered category who applies to a government scheme. Check twice before you rely on the IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship for the MBA. No award size is published. The tabs set out both sides.
Yes, in a limited way. The IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship policy for the MBA offers Need Based Financial Assistance to eligible students, and full-time Ph.D. scholars receive a stipend. IIM Bodh Gaya has published no MBA merit scholarship and no NBFA amount. Write to the admissions office at pgpadmission@iimbg.ac.in for the current rules.
Not for the MBA, on the pages published. No IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship covers the full MBA fee. A full fee cover exists for the full-time Ph.D., where tuition, computer, library and hostel fees are paid. For the MBA, plan for the full fee and treat any aid as a bonus.
The MBA fee is ₹17,96,000 for batch 2026-28. The fees page of this guide gives the term-wise split, hostel rent and deposits. Compare the aid you can expect from an IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship with that figure.
IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship schemes come in four types: institute aid, Ph.D. funding, a tuition waiver for international students and government schemes. Use these IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship details to pick your route. Each IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship type has a different gate. The table lists each type and who it is for.
| Type | Who It Is For | Where It Comes From |
|---|---|---|
| Need Based Financial Assistance | Eligible MBA and IPM students | IIM Bodh Gaya |
| Ph.D. scholarship and stipend | Full-time Ph.D. scholars | IIM Bodh Gaya |
| Study in India waiver | International MBA students | IIM Bodh Gaya |
| Central schemes | SC, ST, minority and disabled students | Government of India |
The MBA page of IIM Bodh Gaya lists four central schemes. SC students can use the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education, run by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. ST students can use the similar scheme of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. Minority students can use the merit-cum-means scheme of the Ministry of Minority Affairs. Students with disabilities can use the Top Class Education scheme for them.
Pick the IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship route that matches your programme, category and plan. The accordion gives one answer for each case.
Ask the admissions office about Need Based Financial Assistance before you pay the offer acceptance amount. Plan an education loan, and apply to any central scheme that fits your category.
Apply on the portal of the central scheme for your category as well. These schemes run alongside any IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship.
Your fees are covered by the scholarship and you receive a stipend. Keep the ₹30,000 caution deposit ready at registration.
Apply through the Study in India route for the 25% tuition waiver on the MBA. The course total is then ₹15,56,000 for batch 2026-28.
NBFA is aid for eligible MBA students, named in the MBA policy. The IIM Bodh Gaya MBA scholarship policy gives no amount, income limit or seat count. The IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship amount for the MBA is unknown. The IPM policy manual 2026-27 also offers NBFA to needy IPM participants. It caps the aid near that year's tuition fee, and the actual award is a percentage of the cap based on family income. The same line appears in the IIT Patna dual degree addendum, which promises NBFA for both fee parts under each institute's policy.
No MBA amount is published. The Ph.D. scholarship is clear: ₹50,000 a month until the comprehensive exam and ₹60,000 after it. A ₹25,000 yearly contingency grant, a ₹50,000 laptop grant and conference support add to it.
IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship eligibility depends on your programme. The MBA policy says eligible students can get need-based aid but defines no limit. The Ph.D. scholarship goes to full-time scholars. Central schemes work by category and income. Check the IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship 2027 rules against your own programme before you plan.
Do Not Plan Your Fees Around Aid
No NBFA amount or date is published. The Term I payment falls due before any aid can reach you. Plan your fee payment, and a loan if you need one, as if you will not get aid. Treat aid as a bonus if you receive it.
A full-time Ph.D. scholar qualifies for the scholarship and stipend. An MBA student from the SC, ST, minority or disability categories can apply to the central scheme for that category. An international MBA student qualifies for the Study in India waiver. For NBFA, the IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship eligibility test is not published.
You do not apply for an IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship with your admission form. The MBA policy gives no application steps for NBFA. Write to the admissions office to learn the process of the IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship. Central schemes have their own portals.
Before You Accept
Ask About NBFA
Write to pgpadmission@iimbg.ac.in and ask how to apply and what the award covers.

Plan Your Fee Payment
Arrange the Term I payment, and a loan if you need one.
After Joining
Apply to Government Schemes
Apply on the portal of the scheme for your category, using the fee details from the institute.
Apply for each outside scholarship on the portal of that scheme, not through IIM Bodh Gaya. An outside award is not an IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship. The MBA page names the scheme and the ministry for each. Open the scheme page, read its eligibility and deadline, and then apply. Ask the programme office for your fee details if the scheme needs them.
IIM Bodh Gaya does not list a document set for NBFA, so ask the admissions office first. Expect to prove family income for any need-based aid. The admissions office is on pgpadmission@iimbg.ac.in. The tabs separate institute aid from government schemes.
No document list is published. Ask which income certificate and other proof the institute accepts. Your CAT scorecard and admission papers are already with the institute.
IIM Bodh Gaya publishes no selection process for NBFA in the MBA. No IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship selection steps are published for the MBA. For the IPM, an NBFA Committee assesses the application in two stages and may call some applicants for a personal interaction. The Ph.D. scholarship follows admission, since the institute funds full-time scholars. The Ph.D. merit list gives 60% to the personal interview and research aptitude, 25% to academics and 15% to work experience. Ask the admissions office for IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship information on MBA aid. The IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship schemes for the Ph.D. are fixed in the programme page.
No Published Rubric for MBA Aid
The MBA policy names Need Based Financial Assistance but gives no selection rubric, document list or deadline. Ask the admissions office, and keep a loan plan ready.
The IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship statistics for the MBA are not published. No award count or share of the batch is known. The Ph.D. numbers are published in full. The cards list them, along with the one fixed MBA waiver. Together they show every IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship amount that is published.
