The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore charged Rs 26,00,000 for the two-year PGP in 2024-26, and it charges Rs 26,00,000 for the 2026-28 batch. The median package rose from Rs 32.61 lakh in 2025 to Rs 34.75 lakh in 2026, a gain of 6.6% in one year.
IIM Bangalore's Financial Aid and Scholarships page carries the Rs 26,00,000 figure under the 2026-28 label. Its Programme Expenses page still displays PGP 2024-26 (Domestic), so read the financial-aid page for the current batch. We could not retrieve a 2025-27 fee page, so this page claims a flat fee across two batches only.
The Rs 26,00,000 bundles tuition, hostel room rent, library and internet access, course material, case-permission royalty, service charges, and medical and personal accident insurance. What it leaves out matters just as much. IIM Bangalore bills GST and other applicable taxes separately, and the figure covers no personal expenses, no laptop and no travel.
Is Rs 26 lakh the number to actually budget for? It comes close, but it is not the whole family number. Add the one-time caution deposit and the recurring mess advance on top, both covered below. A family should plan for a genuine total a little above Rs 26 lakh once it counts every component of the IIM Bangalore fee structure.
See the IIM Bangalore overview for how this IIM Bangalore fees figure sits against placements and ranking. Most private B-schools raise first year fees every one or two years. IIM Bangalore held the PGP fee at Rs 26,00,000 across the 2024-26 and 2026-28 batches. We checked each batch on IIM Bangalore's own page rather than assume continuity, and the fee circular never draws the comparison itself.
