Why Is IIFT Delhi 51st in QS Asia but 17th in NIRF?

The two lists measure different things and cover different sets of schools. QS Asia MBA ranks business schools across the continent on its own survey and outcomes data. NIRF ranks Indian institutes on Indian data. So the numbers are not comparable.

No list gives an IIFT Delhi ranking for each course. NIRF ranks the institute in Management as a whole. QS ranks the Full-time MBA. IIFT has no separate rank for the MBA (Business Analytics) or the MA Economics.

The QS International Trade ranking suits IIFT's trade focus.
