This 9 month competency-based program allows you to work and learn at your own pace, while receiving practical and applied training in word processing, accounting, spreadsheets, database and Internet searches, office procedures, communications and business calculations.

This program, offered in partnership with Assiniboine Community College, has two intakes throughout the year, which means you can start in September or January.

Great Plains College

Great Plains College is at the leading edge of Saskatchewan’s regional college system. The college is focused on meeting the needs of learners, employers, and communities in western Saskatchewan. 

They are working to build stronger leaders, careers, partnerships, and communities. Their decentralized campuses are located in Kindersley, Swift Current, and Warman with additional programming at locations in Biggar, Maple Creek, and Rosetown.

As a result, Great Plains College was the first regional college in Saskatchewan to introduce a health and dental plan for its students. It also proudly boasts one of the strongest scholarship programs in all of Canada. The college is also home to:

  • The only indoor fall protection and rig rescue tower in the province
  • SunDogs volleyball – the only athletics program in Saskatchewan’s regional college system
  • A recently completed $13.5 million renovation and expansion at Swift Current Campus
