What are the eligibility criteria to apply for online degree programs at JAIN Online?
The eligibility criteria to apply for online degree programs at JAIN Online is:- Undergraduate Program To be eligible for the undergraduate program, candidates must have passed the (10+2) examination from a State Board / CBSE / NIOS / IGCSE / IB / ICSE recognized by the State or Central Government. Postgraduate Program For MBA and MCA programs, applicants must have completed an undergraduate (bachelor’s) program with a minimum duration of three (3) years in any stream from a UGC-recognised university, with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent letter/numerical grade. SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation. For Other Postgraduate Programs Candidates must have completed an undergraduate (bachelor’s) program with a minimum duration of three (3) years in any stream from a UGC-entitled university to be eligible for other postgraduate programs.
What is the duration of the programs offered by JAIN Online?
For Bachelors programs : 3 years (6 semesters) For Masters programs: 2 years (4 semesters).
Are online degrees recognized by UGC?
Yes, the online degree programs from JAIN Online are recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Moreover, our MBA and MCA programs are approved by AICTE.
Whether the degree acquired through distance mode is equivalent to the degree acquired through regular mode?
Regulation 22 of UGC (ODL Programmes and Online Programmes) Regulations, 2020 stipulates as under: Degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in conformity with UGC notification on Specification of Degrees, 2014 and postgraduate diplomas awarded through Open and Distance Learning mode and/or Online mode by Higher Educational Institutions, recognized by the Commission under these regulations, shall be treated as equivalent to the corresponding awards of the Degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate level and post-graduate diplomas offered through conventional mode.
