Avanade, a global technology company, has expanded its partnership with the Swinburne University of Technology to provide two extra scholarships for first-year students through the Avanade Women in STEM Scholarship program.
Student applications are now being accepted for the scholarship program, which will close on Mar. 31, 2022. Female students participating in an appropriate engineering, scientific, computer science, or information technology course are encouraged to apply.

Four Swinburne students from the inaugural scholarship intake in 2020 are still benefiting from the program, which offers AU$5,000 per year in financial support over four years, as well as internship opportunities, career coaching, and mentoring from Avanade Australia.

Its STEM Scholarship invests in young women’s futures by providing internships, mentoring, and a support network to assist recipients in achieving their educational and professional goals.
The scholarship program focuses on the fundamentals of successful professional development, such as social networking and teamwork.
Following the conclusion of their degree, scholarship grantees may be awarded graduate placements at Avanade. In addition, Avanade leaders will provide coaching and mentoring to the students, ensuring that they have the support and direction they need to achieve their goals.
