Canterbury Christ Church University Canterbury (CCCU) is launching new bursary and scholarship opportunities for prospective students to commemorate 60 years of transforming lives through education.

New UK students starting an undergraduate full-time degree with Canterbury Christ Church University in September 2022 will be eligible for the Diamond Jubilee Bursary, which will provide a GBP500 cash grant.

According to Vice-Chancellor Professor Rama Thirunamachandran, the university is thrilled to announce a new Diamond Jubilee Bursary, in addition to the Jubilee Academic Scholarships, to help the next generation of students.

In response to a regional teacher shortage, Canterbury Christ Church University was founded in 1962 as a Primary Teacher Training College.

The university has developed programs to assist and enrich the economic, social, and cultural life of Kent and Medway throughout its history.

International Student Scholarship 2022/23 and 2023/24

For international students entering an undergraduate or postgraduate study at CCCU in January 2022, an International Student Scholarship fee discount of £1,500 is offered.

To qualify, prospective applicants must be fee-paying international students and their degree of study’s annual tuition charge must be £14,500.

For students who meet the requirements for the International Student Scholarship fee reduction, £1,500 will be withdrawn automatically from their tuition costs each year.
